Watch Sam Pilgrims video on the bamboo bike before you even ride that.... Trust me, it's not a great idea and Sam would agree. LoL

Sam used it as a mountain bike for tricks and jumps. You don't use an electric for that kind of stuff. Bamboo Bikes are perfectly fine if not one of the best for normal commutes and long distances. They even absorb shock on rough roads (though not jumps).

If i'm not mistaken, Sams frame had hemp fibers instead of glass. Its all in the details of joint design if the end result is capable or not. Sams bike had unbelievable flex, something you also wouldnt want on a street bike. Unnecessary absorption of pedal action to my opinion
