After a summer of short test trips on the Electrom, I set out on the 220 km trip south.

An interesting bike. I have owned several recumbents including some sleek ones but the one I miss the most is my Linear which design wise looks and functions very much like the Electrom minus a motor 😎

I've been following this design. Good to see this upload.

You may change your mind when you see the price tag.

Thanks for showing us the new design in action! I like the design changes overall, but is there any chance the humpback trunk lid will make a return? Maybe as an option.

Hi Brian, Yes, we will still offer the larger tailbox as an option. It does add significantly to the cost as it is a complicated 4-part mold that requires over 20 hours of time to make.

Looks so much fun! But here in Ireland we'd need a fully covered bike! 😂

You Might be surprised. It rains quite a bit here on the West Coast of Canada and the Eletrom handles it pretty well. The fairing protects the rider's legs and feet from rain so only a jacket and helmet are required for all but the heavies of rainstorms. Check ou toru video on the subject. kzbin.info/www/bejne/pqrFd3p4r6uEetUsi=dRU86n-B7Jx7JRiZ

@@electrom_LEV nice, it does look good in the rain. I'm impressed. It's a brilliant machine! I forgot to say that in my original comment

i have to wonder how difficult was on your body to do over 200 km. also that distance is insane to me since my country is around 500km across. as an engineer i am really intrigued about this bike, especially since i started my life loving motor transportation and i am nearing 30 and i have realised that cars are a no go for a sustainable future. really interesting product. i wish i was in near canada in any way to at least try those. they feel like a perfect fit for greece. especially some rural areas.

Thanks. 200 KM is easy on the body while ont he Electrom as the seat is very comfortable and one only needs to pedal as much as one wishes. It is great in a rural setting as it can handle rough roads and potholes much better than most recumbents.

@@electrom_LEV that's encouraging. my only fear is that it can't outmaneuver the scooters we enjoy here which have a tendency to got through tide spaces that they bare fit. there riders here use there feet on the ground to maneuver the vehicle properly. still i don't think this is enough reason to not like since this behaviour is specific to the cities of greece not the rural areas

It looks like the mirrors would benefit from a more stable mount. They'd be quite blurry with this amount of vibration.
@electrom_LEV6 ай бұрын
not really. the camera exaggerates the shaking. The mirrors work very well at all speeds. In fact, if you watch the video more closly, the mirrors may be moving, but the ability to see what is in them is uninfected.

Hi sir I am Melbin I'm from Kerala, India. I've always loved efficient transportation, especially electric vehicles (EVs). I've watched a lot of EV videos online, including yours. I really want to make my own affordable EV that suits my needs, and I've even made a simple 3D model of it. But I'm struggling with the electronics part and the components I need. Could you please help me understand and improve my design?

Why are you paddling when it’s battery powered?

Not sure about passing on the right being safe.

Here in BC the shoulder on the side of the highway is considered a bike lane so it tends to be pretty safe as no cars are supposed to use it. However, one always has to be careful and consider the risks of any situation.

It’s a great bike I could do without the 80s porn music in the background though
