Essentialy the perks are in armor and weapons, but are small bonuses, upgrade them and the inherent bonuses increase. Additionally, each piece of equipment has "cell slots" sections where you can place a specific type of perk into your armor and weapons. Axe Supremacy 🪓

When is game first came out it was a lot more fun and easier to get certain things like resources and upgrades but last time I went on everything such a high grind just for basic upgrades and damn it got so complex that could just be me 🤔

Sorry for the late reply but that's what happen to me too. Reinstall it but quickly found out there are too much grind now + multi player lobby are worse than before made me uninstalled it pretty quickly.

escalations spawn any type of element except the opposite, so in terra no shock spawns etc, you went into a 10-50 escalation while not having leveled your escalations- so you got oneshot

Dauntless was hyped up as being "Monster Hunter on PC," and then MHW was announced. Kudos to the developers for making a game when everybody would play Monster Hunter, but it's crazy that they even tried to support it.

the combo you tried doing no longer exists. for some ODD fucking reason they overhauled the chainblades to have almost nothing to do with chains or range. theyre exclusively up close melee DPS which the game already has too much of. they took a cool weapon and made it generic and shit i genuinely could not imagine what the cause of that was.

Me and my bf started playing MHW recently and after putting 20 hours in I honestly really don’t like the game but it did make me kinda curious in trying dauntless again which I remember playing day back in middle school lol EDIT: I decided to keep playing since my bf had already spent the money on getting us both the game so after beating the base game story and the iceborne story I can confidently say I don’t like MHW. I did however buy MHR a few days ago and only 10 hours in that game is already proving to be a WAAAAAY more enjoyable experience. I also spent a few days grinding dauntless and that game is super fun, I honestly like its weapons and combat more then Monster Hunter’s.

Games like this arent about story. Look at monster hunter. Yes it has story, but people rarely talk about it for a reason. Its because its about the monster hunting and the grind. The story is just fluff.
