Hello from South Central Idaho. We are a high desert so 15 mph winds are an everyday thing and gusts to 30+ are just a normal afternoon. Keep going brother and thank you for providing something wholesome for my 3 YOs to watch, they love Fígaro, the ducks and the babies (goats and chicks).

Yay, I said 14 eggs! We have wind here all the time. It is much appreciated in the heat of summer but when it is cold out it cuts right through you. Those doors turned out great! Blessings to all.

JudithB I was thinking about how cold your weather is and the greenhouse doors. I think a portable shelter/shed that could go in front of one door to create a cold gap so the cold wind cant blow through the greenhouse when you go in and out. We had something like that at our front door in Nevada. I priced compost and top soil in bulk for my new garden beds today and my feed store had turkey poults today. I did get lumber to build hoop houses on 2 4x8' beds but will cover them with row cover fabric for bugs, adding plastic over that in winter. Making progress!!!

The greenhouse is making steps toward its future usage! I am sure you are anxious to get your fingers in the soil. I have learned to add my canned mushroom juice to the broth. Just drain and reserve. Add the rest in broth. (I hope that makes sense-🙂) I hope the weather changes up for all of us soon. Although, if the earth is trying to heal itself it should just continue! Thank You for letting us visit your family everyday! ☮

When you show how you are making your dinner please never apologize for using what you have in stock. At least you have a backup. My husband is picky with the can mushroom, so I now wait until the fresh are on sale, buy cases of them, lightly saute then freeze them.

Your green house is going to be fantastic when it's finished, can't wait to see it & how you outfit it for growing. As always, I know you have some great idea's in store for your work bench, seedling tray benches & storage spaces. I was just thinking about your black & white wether. It's too bad he's not a ram anymore. He sure would have thrown some beautiful kid's for someone. I was wondering if you're going to hatch out some more chicks for your black rooster & chickens. Are you going to expand their flock a bit? I love watching your video's of your building thing's & the animal's & their baby's. Now that my grandkids are getting older I'm going to play your video's for them. I know my 2 grandsons will love your building projects, big machinery use on the farm & your animal's & the my 2 older granddaughters will love Olivia & how she helps you build things & especially her projects. Will Olivia be doing more of her special projects now that she's getting older? And of course they would like Gina's cooking segments, her being your partner in the builds & of course her special projects. Hopefully your weather gets warmer & wind dies down soon, so you can get the side's & top plastic on without any problems. As always, sending Prayers & Blessings your way.

Have you ever seen the videos of people digging in a large vent pipe and forcing air through for underground thermal heat. Might be something to look into for the winter, six feet down it would be around a constant 50 or so . There's a guy who grows citrus year round using it.

I love Stroganoff, it's easy to switch it up with steak. I add sour cream at the end and a little kitchen bouquet to darken the gravy. It's good on toast or biscuits too. Omg, I gotta stop.

I'm loving all the improvements ya'll make. Lumnah Acres is the bright spot in my day (for 5 days a week LOL!) I did want to add a suggestion... I am not affiliated with Harvest Right at All. However, I own 2 of their medium standard Freeze dryers and I have one large new style freeze dryer on order. These machines are awesome and have really come in handy with my bone broth and other food items. The freeze dried foods keep most of their nutrition and taste for much longer than canning. I still can jams and such but WOW a freeze drier has upped my game. With the addition of the high tunnel it seems like a must for your farm. Just a suggestion. God Bless and have a great day! See ya'll tomorrow!

Seventeen eggs ... Nope. Wrong again. :) Your beef stroganoff is very different to how we make it here. We use diced beef and I love the way you say Worchestershire Sauce. I think that's what makes different countries so amazing, because we have so many differences and yet we're eating the same food, watching the same channel, under the same sky. Despite being so far apart and cooped up in our homes at the moment, we live in a small world. Life is amazing.
