Our essay competition provides an opportunity for students to critically engage with their heritage, reclaim narratives, and foster a deeper appreciation of Africa’s profound impact on the world. The Priest Isaac’s 12th Annual African Heritage Essay Competition in Antigua and Barbuda brings more empowerment toward the youth of African Ancestry. It is an independent community-based educational program that is designed to challenge the historical erasure of Africa narratives to enable African Youths in Antigua to celebrate their natural identity as Africans.
