I had a trabecular fracture 4 months ago... when I climb down i did exactly how you showed in the video, quickly getting off the wight from the injured knee. I will try this method.

I really can’t c that well with the captions

Sorry about that @alesiamcintosh7697. I redid the video and moved the captions to the bottom of the screen. Hope you can see what I was showing better. You can check it out in the channel.

Hi. I’m looking at your video. I’m going up the stairs but physical therapy told me to only practice going down the stairs starting on the last step.

Thank you for the input @maribelgomez370. You can certainly do it that way too. Wish you a speedy recovery.🙏

This video is about going down stairs. I need a video about going up stairs.

when going down the stairs, the weaker leg, the surgical leg , goes down first! You tube has tons of tapes on this!
@restorepluspt11 ай бұрын
Thank you for the input @shreenair9829. What you said is correct during the initial stages of recovery. What I am showing in the video is when going to go back to normal already which is the later part of the recovery process.

You put massive captions right on top of the area in the video where your legs are - so then one can't see what you are doing!!! Please delete them, so I can see what movements you are making. Thanks.

Dear Ingrid, thank you for bringing this to my attention. I will let the team know and work on this.

@@restorepluspt Hi there - nice of you for coming back to me, and thanks for this, but the captions are right on top of your feet now, so again I could not properly see what you were doing there with your feet and ankles etc, and also the captions are absolutely massive. I would either make the captions much smaller, so they are normal type size, or just let people select in the settings whether they want to display them. Not everyone will need them, and this will give them the option to watch your movements without them, and then to rewatch the movements with the captions, so they get the best of both worlds. I hope this helps further.

Take off the caption totally as cannot see your foot

If both knees were subject to TKR
@restorepluspt7 ай бұрын
Good question @josieleennajarro7871. If you have bilateral TKR, one of them usually is stronger or better than the other. The one that is progressing better will be considered your stronger leg/good leg. The strategy is still the same. Hope this helps.🙏

This is exactly the video I needed however, I couldn’t see what he was doing because of the captioning. Dang it.

Hey @kirstenbattaglia3119! Here is the link for the other version that I did with the captions at the bottom of the screen so you can see what I was demonstrating. I hope this helps. kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4jCZWeEabycnNk

Sorry about that @TT-rv2rq. I created another version of this video where I moved the subtitle. I recommend checking that out. Hope it helps.

Climb stairs it easy but to walk downstairs is difficult...
@restorepluspt Жыл бұрын
I agree Fadrus. The eccentric contraction of the quads is more difficult that is why going down is difficult.
