Who is the most underrated players on the Clippers right now?
@InHisThirties4 күн бұрын
Easily Zubac. I just can't believe he doesn't get the respect he deserves. He's got a reliable jump hook for goodness sakes. Good defense and a legitimately mobile big. It's just because he does'n't have explosiveness or a crazy ass vertical. But guess what... HE"S NEVER INJURED and MR RELIABLE. All these factors make him a top 5 center specially this year. He's improved every year.

He just needed his own team, and I’ve been saying it since Houston. The idea that James Harden needed to play with other superstars potentially cost him multiple championships. He does this every time he’s forced to lead, it’s his skillset.
@davidsanchez8158Күн бұрын
Playing behind superstars he’s better than and expecting them to lead the team to higher places he’s capable of. Game 1 against Boston was his warning shot of do yall get it now or we going to keep going through Embiid? 76ers are suffering those consequences for their decision
@danbobway565611 сағат бұрын
You still need stars, hell just Harden and Kyrie were tearing up the league in 21 and that was with kyrie in and out of the lineup. Going to philly definitely cost him a year and a half. No one can carry embiid and maxey was a harden merchant, hes regressed every year since Harden left lol
@danbobway565611 сағат бұрын
@@davidsanchez8158facts dude, tbf he had the right idea, game 5 of the celtics series should have been how the whole series went with the shots harden was creating for everyone the whole series but they were never gonna win with PJ tucker and tobias standing in each corner not being guarded and bricking open looks. Then like you said embiid came back and played like shit, just stood around at the perimeter instead of setting a pick and rolling, similar to kawhi coming back game 2 and 3 and taking the most shots despite playing like shit and losing us those games when we had dominated game 1 without him when we played through harden, same thing game 4, no kawhi and we win. If he didnt waste our players energy by throwing game 2 and 3 we probably beat dallas.

Not a fan. Never have been. If he is the LAC locker room leader, they are playoff cannon fodder, at best. But Harden's 24-25 numbers are exceptional. You could argue that his greater focus this season on distribution and defense, have made him a legit top ten player (even if any team that has him as their leader is doomed). But maybe Harden's on-court performance is a reflection of a new less-selfish, self-centered attitude, Kawhi is going to return and play well and LAC can make a run? Not likely, but hope is intoxicating! 😉

@@ayogeorge1 Anyone who judges a player's impact based on the box score do not understand eve the basics of basketball. He is being double teamed constantly and that has created opportunities for Zubac and Powell to have break out years with all-star numbers (before Zubac's FG attempts went down). Without Harden who is running the pick and roll with Zubac, not Terrance Mann, Powell, KPJ etc. Harden is the best pure point guard in the league right now and a top 5 floor raiser. Even with his poor FG% he should be considered for an all-NBA team because without him the Clippers are probably 6-15 instead of 12-9. They would not have beaten GSW twice, the Nuggets and Phoenix would have beaten the them by a lot more than a last second clutch field goal. The Clippers have had the hardest strength of schedule, and most back to backs and were projected to be a 12-15 seed by every major media outlet. No one gave Harden credit for how much of a floor raiser he has been during his entire career. Those Rockets teams should have been in the lottery, they were only competitive because Harden averaged 32-35ppg and 10+ apg. He was responsible for a combined 60-65 points per game. Only Wilt Chamberlain rivals those numbers. If Kawhi was healthy Harden would be even more effective. he's missing about 3 assists per game with Kawhi out and Kris Dunn temporarily filling his spot. And with Norman Powell out Harden is still finding ways for the offense to tread water. An offense that is still bottom 10 in the keague even with Powell scoring the way he has.
