Don't you see, when he doesn't see Michael Malone, Calvin Booth-Jamal Murray doesn't want to spend, he fulfilled his goal, he signed a max contract as if he was an All Star and MVP. 52,250,000 per season. His contract is secure and he will play sometimes when he is allowed to play. With a max contract he has to be a starter. Imagine that a player with 52 million per season sits on the bench and JS plays with a contract for 2 million. JM-MPJ as starters have the worst first half in the NBA - they don't want to play defense, when they play badly they say it's our fault, as MPJ said at the end of the season - they say we're to blame for the defeat but they go to the bank and withdraw money - the money is safe no matter how you play.

Wesbrook had and still has basketball in him, he just needed to have the right teammates around him. Denver is great for him not only because of Jokic, but also because of the possibility of Westbrook settling down and getting security for the next few years. After all, Lebron and the Lakers put a bad image about him. Lebron, who otherwise has been suffocating the Lakers for several years, is not a good teammate to anyone on the team except himself.
