What I find so disappointing on top of this, is that no one in the chess community really dares to speak out about Hikarus bad sportsmanship. He has displayed this kind of behavior so many times, but no one dares to criticize him because of his influence and fanbase, fearing the potential backlash they could receive. I respect Hikaru al lot for his incredible ability, but this is just unacceptable and people should give him a reality check really. - correction; I just saw a video of Aman speaking out, kudos to him. Chessbrahs are the only ones though.

But the community as a whole doesn’t speak out enough, especially when taking into account how often Hikaru has behaved like a manchild. Chesscom has a responsibility to secure FairPlay, not only with cheating, but also when it comes to sportsmanship. You simply cant treat your chess colleagues like he’s done so often. But chesscoms interests and their partnership with Hikaru are too big to correct him. Shameful.

DS9 is in my top 2 or 3 Star Trek series. The first season is weird but it got a lot better. War with aliens from the other side of the wormhole, it was really really good.

After white moves his night to D4 in the mid game, Hikaru should have moved his knight to F5,, then use his bishop To take the pawn on H3. If white's pawn then takes the bishop, The night then has a triple Fork on White's king, queen and rook!

Yes, he offered to withdraw and give Hikaru the win. But Hikaru agreed on a 20 minute break which he regretted it later started ranting upton his loss.

Not really or not exactly. After beating Danya, Alireza said to the organizers he would rather withdraw from the finals, as he was (understandably) exhausted: so the organizers negotiated with him and gave him some extra minutes (17m according to Hikaru) just to keep the whole thing going. Hikaru could have made a case right at that moment and refuse to play, but he started playing anyways. The match started 4-3 in favour of Hikaru, but then Alireza started to steamroll him (6/0 winning streak): that's when Hikaru retorted to the now infamous tantrum, effectively stalling the match for at least 10 minutes (clock was stopped).

I’m unsubscribing. I like your posts by find your flashing of supposedly humorous pictures too frustrating. My advice from a viewer’s point of view is to never obstruct the board. You might think it’s funny but the viewer is analysing the position at all times. It’s infuriating when the chessboard keeps on disappearing unexpectedly.
