@@bmatteson88 That's awesome, and it is my hope that she be a woman of God. There is no more honorable or desirable of a woman that one who belongs to Lord Jesus, the same can be said for us men. I cook for my wife because I love to serve, I recognize that in serving her I am also serving God who commanded me to love my wife as He loves the church even being willing to give up my life for her, as God gave up His life for His church (His bride).

Looks delicious. Back home, I'd elevate this with some fresh shrimp from the market, I'd replace the chicken broth and lobster Boullion with a stock made from the shrimp heads. With the grits I use 2 cups of heavy cream and two cups of water with chicken boullion. I'll definitely add smoked gouda to my repertoire. I've also seen some Cajun recipes add okra. But that's doing way too much.

I love shrimp and grits and make it every so often... mine is a more simplified preparation because I don't do the vegetables or the sausage, but I do use bacon in my sauce...my grits are creamy and cheesey and I add garlic powder to them as well...delicious! I think I would like to try this recipe as well but since it's only me eating, I would have to really scale it down...
