THIS IS THE END OF VANLIFE AUSTRALIA

This isn't how we expected this to end! Vanlife in Australia has been one big adventure, but with our visa ending it was time to get our van on the market and get him ready for life beyond us! Six months of life the road meant Dingo is a little worse for wear, so he needs some TLC before getting sold! We head back from Tasmania to Melbourne and get him all the love and attention he needs. It's an emotional journey packing him up, and it's sad to think this is our penultimate video in Australia. It has been one heck of an adventure!

⤈ WHO WE ARE ⤈
We are Philly and Keely and we live full time in our tiny home on wheels Martha. After building our DIY home in a Citroen Relay camper we spent a year living on the streets of London before quitting our jobs only to be met with lockdown. Then we took our van further than she had ever been before to the very beautiful Turkey. Enroute, we stopped off in Spain for a few weeks where we experienced every van lifers worst nightmare, we were robbed and they stole all valuables in our van. But then we were back on our feet, fully MOT’d and back on the road through Europe before we experienced another vanlife nightmare... our van caught fire!! After the trauma of that we had a massive change of plan and made our way to Japan. We enjoyed a three-month Japanese Adventure and then got back to Martha for some new European Adventures. After an incredible three-month Scottish road trip, we have now packed up our van and are heading to Australia for a new van life adventure!

These past six months have just flown by watching these videos! Youse have packed so much adventure into that time, kinda like how many bins and boxes you fit into Dingo. 😁 Don't think I would hand over money sight unseen for a vehicle normally, but a buyer being able to watch 10+ hours of footage of how a van was treated & loved makes Dingo an exception. OMG, that was the _smoothest_ audio overlay ever; couldn't even tell it was a voiceover!!! 😆 In late 2012, I purchased a 2010 Prius w/14k miles that had been totaled & rebuilt, paying an additional $300 to have it shipped over 400 miles to me. It wasn't _quite_ sight unseen -- the dealership had COPIOUS pics online, and were happy to send additional ones of anything I wanted more details of -- but it was still a pretty disconcerting situation! And BTW, we're still using it! I suspect I'll be doing a battery rebuild soon, but it's still a perfectly good vehicle!

As we sit near the campfire let me tell you about these mystical creatures from the Emerald Isle We all know of them but to see these creatures who wear their hearts on their sleeves is rare and interaction is almost non existent. Thrice times one can experience the joy and pleasure and then, they are gone. They are ephemeral, always moving, travelling with their spirit animal, in this case, Dingo who they shape with their tears and laughter. Place an offering, most commonly a coffee, and they will stay and bless you with their presence. Once you have had this experience, you will smile and laugh at the memory. Thank you

Why so surprised Dingo sold? This was never like buying off eBay. Your channel is the perfect marketing tool. Everyone watching knows how he handles, how you built him and how much love you poured into your tiny home. They also know a little bit of who you are so probably wouldn't freak at any little quirks either. I would never buy a vehicle unseen but I would have bid for Dingo if I had been in the market for an adventure on this beautiful continent.
