My wife and I are working to support Ethiopia's development in ideas. I am a Geotechnical engineer, and my wife is a Structural engineer, both based in the Netherlands. Together, we are researching how Ethiopia's three major rivers can be utilized not only for irrigation but also as waterways for transporting goods to and from neighboring countries. (Canal, canal, canal) Mainly Awash, Wabe Shebele and Baro. Who knows-maybe one day, Ethiopia's cargo could be transported not by trucks but by vessels all the way to Koka Dam from Red sea and South Sudan. Our research is still in the conceptual stage, and we have not yet conducted an environmental impact assessment. However, one thing is certain: the Netherlands has done an incredible job in managing water resources and building canals, which serves as an inspiring example for us. Canals, canals, canals.

@@NikolineG that’s what make Ethiopia unique..king haile selasie you may know them as ( Rastafari or Ras Teferie) is real king that lived till the 1970 ‘s real Solomonic dynasty from the Bible lived until few decades ago in Ethiopia. He was responsible for the African union as we know it today, king Africa that pushed the freedom of all the other countries like his. There is Adwa museum where you should visit showcasing how an African black leader defeated the Italians multiple times and specially on the battle of Adwa. Not even mentioning other kingdoms and palaces all over the country specially in Gondor and Axum.
