So I have a new wardrobe . The streets can keep my clothes. Dumb ass bitches ripped through them at the bandon I stayed in. I got out of detox with the clothes on my back. Thanks to them I found rock bottom. I was fortunate my mom came & got me of course I relapsed for the 3 days it took for her to come get me so I spent my Ssdi for themonth. I had no presents for anyone. Big props to Ma Dukes! I even pay her rent now. Life is better then it has been in years.

I think anyone judgmental and ignorant about addiction should have to go through withdrawals at least once. I agree! You can see from her Facebook that she was once a good mom. From her older photos you would never guess that she is where she is today😞 a lot of moms go through postpartum depression and never get help and this is how they deal with the sadness. It could be anyone. I’m sure she puts up a front but she does show appreciation and seems respectful to Tom. I don’t agree with leaving your children but I respect those who walk away instead of bringing turmoil into their children’s life. Sometimes that’s the best a parent can do when faced with a problem. No different than adoption. It’s sad but its what’s best for the children. I hope Maddie is a success story one day and she is with her boys again.

Maybe I was speaking of my own postpartum? Or a friends mental illness that lead them down the same path. There is no excuse for not raising your children. As an addict myself who's been in recovery for 10 years I don't know why nobody is trying to get some of these girls that don't want to go into rehabilitation centers to go on methadone maintenance programs. I was one of the kind of addicts that was addicted to opiates and no matter what I tried I just could not stay clean I was able to get clean but not stay clean so I finally tried methanol maintenance and yes technically I'm on a narcotic medication with being on methadone but at least I'm not abusing drugs anymore and I'm living a stable healthy life. I'm married with three beautiful children we just moved into our four bedroom home living a pretty great life so I would suggest somebody pushing the methadone maintenance programs for these girls

She texted her sister which gave us the info telling us she said as soon as he passes out imma send someone to rob him Like when my mom Found him She found him Wit socks On top Of his body his house Was ransacked and there was shit everywhere. Also his subxone script was missing which he just got on May 1, 2020 it just sucks his money and bank card and food stamp card all missing the whole wallet I call the cops and they say just because she was there doesn’t make her a murderer I said if it was ur family member how would u feel my brother was doing great he had his own place Made over 1,000 bucks a week during the corona. Worked 16 hours a day some day. He never left his works out or drugs he was clean for awhile. The drugs were stil in one bag that was left Out. It was Set up u can tell. We are still waiting on the autopsy. It’s been months now. Over two At least please Pray for his Kids Which we have one he is 7 And my other nephew comes every weekend. I know He is with us in spirit but I miss him dearly. His Son lost His Front tooth and I thohht to Myself man he should be here seeing this. But my hubby and I Ans My mom will Make sure he is taken care of and Has a great life. Thanks for hearing me out. It's very heartbreaking knowing Maddie is missing out on her children's lives. I pray she finds her way into recovery before the disease of addiction and the streets fatally swallow her up. The addict uses and the family suffers. My niece is 32 years old now, her father fatally overdosed when she was three and a half, and then when she was 7 years old my sister fatally overdosed. It took a village to raise my niece, God bless her, she's a homeowner today, very responsible and made sure she was not going to go down the path her father and mother went. I'm in recovery on 9/9.1997 is when my journey began. I'm so deeply blessed to be alive clean and sober. It hurts my heart seeing sick and suffering addicts in their addiction, there is a way out and it doesn't have to be in a body bag. So many addicts need to get clean and sober but most importantly do they want it?? For me, the pain inside had to get greater than the desire of getting clean and sober, and by the grace of god it did. Sending much love and light to all...

You're right in a way. Addicts deep in their addiction very oftenly are not being honest. Not only about their use, but about the smallest stuff. It's not intentional tho, at some point it just becomes another habit. So yeah. She might not be honest in a way of being objectively truthfull, but she is in a way of presenting her train of thought.

Tom is an awesome person!! Everyone from all walks of life deserves a chance. These people are at the front line in need of help and it’s just not getting through. Our system in society is what’s failing people in need. It’s really nice to see people get helped by average people with huge hearts. When people fall down, sometimes they need help getting up. Just because somebody’s on drugs, don’t put them down. They need some kind of intervention. They are trying their best to stop however, with negativity, it makes things worse. These people really need your help. C’mon people, give them a chance.
