@@AgapeForgottenI think it actually has more to do with Scott knowing that MatPat is by far the best theorist there is. That’s why he didn’t get to go to the movie studio. Scott knew that Matt would just start putting things together. Matt’s channel is meant to solve the lore. The other channels (with a few exceptions) mostly just call out details, find things in the files, and react to stuff (Dawko, Fusion, Mark, etc) Plus, Scott has been on many of Mat’s streams. He even made a game specifically for one of Mat’s streams. Scott watches the game theories. He has called Mat out in his posts on many occasions, even saying that his theories were the closest. Scott knows Mat is the best theorist, so he wants to keep him in the dark to make it more exciting for both of them.

Sun and Moon feels like a continuation and foreshadowing for the "good and bad in the same body" train. It was done with both Crying Child and Cassidy in Golden Freddy, it was focal for Tiger Rock and if this theory (and Matt's previous ones) is/are right, it could be a hint at the idea of both Baby and Charlie residing in the Pizzaplex's systems

56:02 I'm almost 100% positive that that scene is not supposed to be happening in the AR world. The ending is called the "Brazil ending" not as a funny joke or anything but as a direct reference to the 1985 movie "Brazil" where in the ending the main character is trapped in a torture chair but Has delusions about being saved and rescued. The cardboard cutout aesthetic is like that because instead of being in AR, Cassie is completely making this scene up in her mind as she has a total breakdown. I also believe that's the reason why Vanessa is looking away and in the foreground, because Cassie would have no idea who that is, but the audience does.

(idk if im right because im silly and can't pay much attention to gameplay so idk if the mask works in the chase scene) but the actual AR system couldn't get underground where the mimic is, right? like when the concrete wall gets broken, we're out of the range for it. So why would Cassie just be able to put the mask on there to see a scene in AR? It'd make much more sense if it was just a delusion she was manifesting in her mind.

Help wanted's "Game within a game" is a real game in Greggory's universe, and ruin confirms that. from custom night back, is it's own canon, but the modern games (AR, Help wanted, Security breach, Ruin, and most likely Help wanted 2) are a new canon, from the pizzaplex saga, using the old canon as a 'base' for a new story.

Wow, John really has been a blessing for revitalizing how we look at the games. He's not afraid to be laughed at or challenged and so far he's produced some really ground breaking theories. This is correct, and I'll take it a step further: The Charliebots were INTENDED to function based on sound disk AR. Elizabeth/Elanor/Baby uses it to pass as Charlie, as you can see when her illusions make John - the one most sensitive to the sound disk's frequencies - make John nauseous. Charlie herself ALSO 'cloaks' herself as a human, but in a way that is undetectable even by John, because the Charlie who serves as the main character of the book is not a robot but a HAUNTED DOLL. Nobody talks about this as much as they should be. The way hauntings work in FNaF is already almost indistinguishable from AI. Silver Eyes Charlie is an 'analog' mimic. She is a dead child's toy that strove itself into consciousness to try and fill the hole in a grieving inventor's heart. I think this is the theme Scott feels he hasn't fully got the community to explore, and the one he's trying to 'come back to' in this current arc.

The main problem I would have with pizzeria simulator now canonically being a game is that we physically see the fnaf 6 location burned down, not just in an ending of security breach apparently made up by Gregory, but we see parts of it plus candy cadet in Ruin meaning that in some way that game had to have happened in the new canon as well.

Like we know for a fact that candy cadet exists, which I feel is a very crucial detail to figuring out just how canon pizza sim is. We know that Freddy has some connection to the fnaf 6 location based on his lines at the end of security breach, though that is thrown into question since that ending is no longer canon I think the best evidence we have right now is that the only game that’s canonicity hasn’t been thrown into question is sister location as it’s the only one who’s story hasn’t been shown in the books as a game within universe. I believe this is on purpose as that game has always felt unique to the others in the franchise and goes along with the silver eyes trilogy. William Afton, Michael and Elizabeth are all specifically called out within this game giving them a good backing to still be canon, but Henry is never brought up making his story unclear if it’s canon or not.

One of the things about "The Mimic" I think is ignored a suprising amount is that the parts that we know (from the books) are part of the original mimic, which is the upper body, look compressable. The upper and lower arms have telescoping segments, which, to me, look like that's what the mimic uses to "fit into any costume". The Upper Torso and Pelvis are also connected by something that looks like hydraulic pistons. The Head is also connected by two of those, as well as something akin to Shower Hose, with the segmented design. The "Spine" also looks more like one of those Flexible Cable Carriers than something structural. The legs, of course, don't fit this motif, because they are "spare endo legs" that were just slapped onto it, so that it can walk around. I think that from this, we can pretty safely assume that the Mimic's ability to "Shapeshift" is actually its ability to vary its own size by a considerable margin. The Upper limit seems to be a bit above Human Size, maybe 7ft-ish, and the lower limit is probably somewhere around that of a child, not considering the static leg size. Just with a bigger head, since that has a static size too, and a bulky torso, since whilst the "spine" can reduce, the torso itself is rigid.

I think the books got so ahead of the games in terms of storytelling because Scott was able to release many, much quicker which went way more in depth than the games were able to so in order not to spoil future games he said the books were non canonical but imho after Security Breach and Ruin it's very kind of obvious they are cannon and perhaps he was giving it some time to play catch up

1. If the books are the same timeline as the games, then why bother with the games story? Few if any of the central story events for the Security Breach story happen in the game it's self. All we have in the game is Gregory, no longer being controlled, freeing Vanessa, and both leaving with Freddy's head. I love how you started explaining from the book standpoint of how they found out she was a robot all along at 29:34. My hot take on why everyone around her didn’t figure it out stems from the knowledge that moving plates are used on sister location animatronics. If they had that kind of technology already then it wouldn’t be far of a stretch to have multiple layers of plates like this under the layer used like the skin on things similar to how a drawer works to expand different areas on a slow release timer so that the last robot slowly grew to the same size as the next. There would be a limit to how much they could put in one body though which is why there’s 4 different iterations of her and she may not remember certain things because, much like sister locations interaction with baby’s animatronic, if most of her memory or code was set to a small chip and it was taken from the main body overnight to save onto another chip for backup or for transfer to the next body then she would never know the difference. That's actually a really good theory. Especially since we know Baby has the ability to transform, but has to use the illusion discs as well since there are limits to what she can do, and that the mimic can shapeshift to fit different costumes. The story basically explains that all of FNAF 4 was a bunch of messed up experiments down in Aftons underground bunker, Afton had lured kids away from their homes and brought them down to his bunker to be experimented on. Afton used hallucinogenic gas to make the FNAF 4 victims believe they were looking at the nightmare animatronics, when in reality they were nothing more than mannequins on tracks moving in a set path. The main character of Dittophobia, named Rory, eventually escapes the experiments after 10 years, leaves the FNAF 4 test location and enters the Circus Baby Entertainment And Rentails bunker. In the bunker Rory encounters Ballora and Funtime Foxy, using the fact that Rory was stuck down their for 10 years and that the FNAF 4 experiments didn't start till after the bite of 83' we know that SL is after FNAF 1 in the timeline. TLDR: FNAF 4 is solved, SL takes place after FNAF 1, and Afton kidnapped and killed a lot more kids than we originally thought. The leaker's name on twitter is Entom and he posted all about the story there.

I think an explanation for Afton's "I took you" line is that he took, and killed, Charlie as a child. We see her visit "Sammy's" grave (which I guess implies her programming means she doesn't see that it says Charlie, like when your brain sees a word and thinks it's a completely different word at first glance). My theory is this: During the encounter with Afton in the first book, he looks at Charlie and says "You are beautiful", She's a little creeped out by that, but I think he says that knowing that he killed the real Charlie and this must be a robot. So, at the end of the second book, Afton follows Charlie to the 'fourth closet' and, after everyone cleared out, takes the newly awoken Charlie 4 and starts brainwashing her (calling her Elizabeth, she sees him as a father, she has a massive resentment towards Henry) and opens Circus Baby's Pizza Place. At the end of the second book the friends all (apart from John, who watched her die) think Charlie just looks mature, I guess like she had a makeover, and then she goes off the radar for a year until book 3. John is fully freaked out by this and how different she looks, but I think everyone else is just happy she's 'alive', and without any injuries. Also, none of them were really that close to Charlie apart from John and her college roommate. And then the Sammy thing, we know that both of Charlie's parents worked together at Fredbear's Family Diner, but after Sammy (Charlie) was taken, there's no mention of Mrs. Emily. I think as Henry grew obsessed with recreating Charlie, Mrs. Emily left with Sammy and was never heard from again. That could also be the catalyst of what led to Charlie 4 being filled with Agony, Henry had lost not only his daughter but his wife and son too. This thing that he's building was supposed to make him happy again, but it took away the family he had left. But yeah, that's all speculation, just a theory, a book theory, thanks for reading.

I think the books aren't super literally connected to the games. Mimic Charlie was created by Henry as a twin for his daughter. Mimics purpose was to be the most lifelike animatronic that ever existed. I think William Afton kidnapped Mimic Charlie when he left to create a sister location. He turned her into murderous Circus Baby. Actual Charlie in the games was a little girl who died and became the puppet.

Perhaps they were attempting to train it, before it was sealed away? It could even be proof of that the whole Edwin story may have some truth to it. The kids drawings and broken grammar all from the Mimic mimicking, instead of Gregory being a robot? But even then, there is a drawing of a balloon, it could be a classic kid's drawing, or it could lead back to the ending with the 5 balloons, somehow foreshadowing Cassy's ending.

The Charlie-bots might have had some flexibility in their endoskeletons/hardware, so they could adjust their frames gradually over time. In a much less extreme way than the mimic is able to shrink or grow to fit into costumes or animatronics. So 'Adult' Charlie, might have been able to start at 'Late-Teen' and the hardware would mimic aging more-or-less naturally from there.

The older/younger robot argument at 31:00 the answer could be the robots are built to grow, with extensions in the legs and torso and when those extensions max out they switch to a robot whose minimum height is the same as the old one’s maximum hight and now it can continue to “grow” with fresh extensions.

Addition: maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but I don't really see the problem with both Henry and Edwin both existing in Security Breach's continuity while still not both being ''real''... after all, there is an entire video game series set within the Security Breach timeline retelling what happened. The parallels are too obvious for them to just happen to exist within the same universe, unless Scott really jumped the shark, but with what, four games retroactively turning out to be works of fiction, why can't something similar be the case for Henry and Edwin?
