Trust me, Louvre's gardens are not really cruising places anymore. Or at least, not since decades. Maybe in the middle of the night, and even ... It's in the middle of Paris, very touristic. Not really the ideal place for a cruising place. But Paris is still a beautiful gay-city, and I hope you saw the gay district, with all the bars and clubs. Trust me, french boys, especially in Paris, it's all you need ^^ (and I'm not saying this because I'm French and Parisian).

I doubt it. Cruising behaviour probably only started existing after Christianity suppressed natural homosexual behaviour and created the need for secret liasons. I agree that LGBT behaviour went way back, even before we were human, as it is still seen in the many species today.

@@kennyearthling7965 it only makes perfect sense that it's been around since day 4 because we sure as hell didn't learn this along a cold and windy day while strolling along the Nile... I for one, didn't make up this urgent need to be with and feel comfortable with another man... I, like most of the boys just "knew" from a very early age that there was definitely something odd and unusual about those guys that were attracted to women. Those guys were surely misguided at best.

I am sorry to disappoint you, but the most historical cruising spot is the Jardin du Luxembourg, and to some, which I disapprove of, is on the grounds of the Pere Lachaise. I have crossed the Louvre gardens many times and have never felt any cruising going on. J-L

it's weird, maybe they were suspicious because of your camera, because I walk past these bushes every day and I can assure you that even if it's freezing cold, you can see the men (mostly old, not really attractive ones I must say) walking in these bushes, awkwardly stopping, scanning the place, and taking a few more steps... Even in broad daylight. Now, I'm not sure that stuff actually goes down there, maybe at night, because it's very exposed, but it's still very much a meeting point for those who are still turned on by the whole cruising atmosphere !
