Eating less and less calories makes you lose weight. But losing weight does not make you a healthy person. This diet you are doing is really dangerous and you should definitely consult a nutritionist. You are basically filling your stomach with water ( which does not have the necessary nutrients your body needs to work) so you don't have the urge to eat..

+Kevin Lin If you've ever dealt with an Eating disorder it strongly revolves around measuring food and closely gauging calories. I can assure from a personal standpoint that this video could definitely trigger a relapse for somebody with a current, past, or developing ed. If you have an unhealthy high calorie diet this video might make it more apparent to you but it wouldn't technically trigger you. In fact: somebody whose heavy can still have an eating disorder so its not just based off tiny thin anorexics. To clearly answer your question this video potentially could trigger somebody with or recovering from an eating disorder. If you've never dealt with one it woudn't affect you on the same deep personal level. So no it wouldn't trigger a person whose never dealt with one, and definitely not more. (And of course like I said before a "fat" person could still deal with an ed. Have a nice day.

But the calories don't matter. We actually need thousands of calories per day. The fat and the sodium creates fat. Not the calories. So eat all you want, just watch the amount of fat and sodium you have.
@Sean-mc4iq8 жыл бұрын
wrong, fat and the sodium is not what creates the fat. It's eating in a caloric surplus with terrible macro nutrients that will lead to fat gain. You could lose fat by eating salty crackers and fatty donuts, as long as you are eating in caloric deficit.
@Squallido8 жыл бұрын
it's not that simple actually, stress (cortisol level) are very important, too. In the end i think that if a person isnt happy it will have a hard time managing its weight and being fit no matter what he does.

MiintBlu Sodium doesn't create fat, it holds water. And fat doesn't create fat, being in a caloric surplus does. Our bodies need sodium (and fat) especially if you're active, but avoid table salt and salt in processed foods.

Health comes for free, but it does not come for nothing; you have to earn it every day. Healthy people do what unhealthy people are just not willing to do. Healthy people pay attention to the consequences of their lifestyle choices, rather than simply focusing on short-term pleasure. Having a healthy mind, body and spirit brings great happiness. Health is the natural state; we are born into it, and we revert to it when we supply the necessary substances, forces, influences and conditions. When we were babies, our parents nurtured our health, guiding and encouraging us towards living healthyfully. Sunlight, fresh air, sufficient sleep, refreshing rest, positive mental attitude, and physical activities are free for the choosing. Fruit literally grows on trees. In nature, room and board is free for all animals, but they must secure it on their own accord. The outcome of healthful living is healthy, every time. There are many pressures, duties, responsibilities, and distractions, however, that can be so demanding as to make it seem that there is simply no time to live healthfully. Nothing could be further from the truth, as in fact, we simply have no time or inclination to be ill. Healthful living is a responsibility. We owe it to ourselves, our friends and loved ones, and certainly to our immediate family to live as healthfully as possible. The premature loss of a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences of life. To watch a loved one choose self-destructive behavior over self-constructive action is almost as difficult. Healthful living, on the other hand, is easy and extremely pleasant. All of the "necessaries" of life are enjoyable pastimes. Participation in health-giving activities invariably leaves us feeling good about ourselves, and supports the mindset of wanting to be perpetually healthy. Make your routine a healthy one, and reap a healthy harvest, daily, for the rest of your life.

You can trade these for other foods, like a breakfast sandwich, slice of pizza, or skinless chicken breast. Fun fact: Half of the calories in chicken are in the skin. A chicken is ~1300 calories, and a skinless chicken is ~650 calories.

200 calories is the amount of a light snack, not a meal! This makes counting calories sound impossible. I've been using my Fitbit Blaze to track my activity and the app to count calories, and it's a lot more manageable than I expected from misleading things like this! The app calculates if I'm eating at least 500 calories less than I burn every day. It tells me how many calories I have left for the day, which goes up with physical activity. That's it--that's all that counting calories takes for me. My meals are way over 200 calories! But following this system since April, I've lost 26 pounds.
@Sillykat3218 жыл бұрын
Counting calories is ridiculous. Calories are not something to be feared, and on diets where you're eating very little to stick within a certain amount of calories you're doing more harm than good. You might be losing weight, but that isn't always a good thing. All you need to do to lose weight is eat a healthy diet, you don't have to eat very little to achieve that.

Well, you don't really need to count calories if you are healthy and know how to stay at a healthy weight. If you are overweight then you should probably consider counting calories and start exercising. Being overweight comes with a great deal of problems. It's not just extremely unattractive, it also leads to severe health problems. I almost forgot to mention one thing, eating the right type of food is just as important as consuming less calories.

rawwithnature really? I have people in my family who had a balanced meal, which included animal products. My grandmother from my father's side lived up to 119 years old. Not all diets work for everyone. A balanced diet and excersize is what a person needs to still live a healthy life. Too much of animal products is unhealthy. It is all about portion size.

People be treating calories as if it's poison. It's fuel for ur body (you shouldn't overeat but you shouldn't restrict it too much either, just like u wouldn't give ur car too lite or too much fuel) ^^ Media just wants to either shock u into liking/sharing or buy weight loss products (which doesn't work ok)

If you went on a 200 calorie diet, your metabolism would adjust and as soon as the diet was over you would gain all the weight back and then some. Calories are not bad. Nuts, legumes, avocados, and olive oil are all calorie dense foods, but they're also all nutrient dense and have lots of healthy fats that lower your risk for CVD.

Usually it's 200 calories for breakfast, 200 for lunch, 400 for dinner, 200 for a snack and than you are already on 1000 calories. If you try to lose weight having 200 calorie portions is best, even though dinner can be a bit more usually.

Not really, 200 calories is a very small amount(it's 10% of the recommended daily intake of calories) and if you exercise even half an hour a day you could snugly do 500 calories snack a day. And it's very important to state - calories aren't everything.
