Im 66 and The longest i quit was for 5 years and thought i beat it forever, but then i slowly got back into it again i quit again two years ago for one year, then i have been drinking again for the last year, stopped again last week but had a couple beers in the last week but now I’m quitting again this time for good! Great channel. Apparently I was subscribed, but no notifications. You cover this quite well. One of the hardest things, at least initially, is the insidiousness of: 1) social accessibility...pressure, and that it's offered in every social gathering. 2) the idea that it's essential to having a good time. It's not.

Anger really helped me. It was the biggest thing of motivation and that im a hustle guy who wants always have better then what i have already. So those two things was my strong motivations to quit. Sure i quitted like maybe 6-7 times before i quitted for good. And now i am 14 months sober 😎

You can. I did and it’s been a year, everything in my life has improved dramatically. Just taper off slowly, drink 2-3 drinks a day for a week, then 1-2 the next. Then 1 a day for a week and then half a drink and so on. Also drink lots of water and electrolytes in between the each drink. You can do it I believe in you.
