Recently purchased one in infrared with a toasted caramel interior. Was thinking about getting one with as shown in the video, which is also very beautiful. While I WFH full time, after getting this car, I always try to find reasons to go out to drive it. Absolutely amazing! As to the tech/infotainment, honestly, not an issue to me at all, because, with the top down and the V-8 NA engine plus the HUD, I found myself not looking at or using the screen at all or rarely. This is a car where you just take time to do things and enjoy every moment in it.

Hi Kirk, I own a 2020 LC Inspiration Edition (Nori Green) and fully agree with lack of dash controls for Seat and Steering wheel heat. However, I discovered soon after I bought it that if you use Concierge mode, all of these functions will operate automatically based on the Temperature you have set on the main panel. Once you have setup Concierge the way you want it the first time, you never have to “hunt” in Infotainment again.

What a beeeeeauuuutiful convertible! The combination of the blue and the caramel interior is gorgeous! The Lexus logic on screen drove me away of purchasing a new one. And I owned a Lexus for over 10 years. I couldn't get use to the mouse in changing almost everything (A/C, radio, NAV, etc) and drive at the same time! KISS = Keep It Simple Stupid. Hehe Also, the visit to Trader Joe's was hysterical! Lol. My dog wouldn't fit in the back either! And his legs are ------------ this long! Love me some Kirk and love the channel!

I own an AMG , and I would take this LC over my AMG everyday ! Seriously , I start my car everyday worrying about sudden faults , ABC leaks , error codes .. german cars become extremely unreliable after 50k ~ 60k miles , maintenance costs are just unbearable by all means . The only thing that falls short of this Lexus is its screen , it is kinda of a deal breaker for me since competitors are going crazy with advance tech etc .. but other than that , LC500 is one of the most gorgeous vehicles out there and hopefully lexus will keep manufacturing it for generations to come

@@coolme241 it is not as easy as it sounds given that switching vehicles COST a fortune at the end , the LC is 120k $ and Lexus has developed it at a time were it didn’t give much attention to the infotainment , no 360degree cameras , and many more features that falls short compared to the competition given the price point. I would say buying it used ( because it didn’t hold its price very well here in the middle east ) would be the bargain of the decade ! Nevertheless after the reveal of the new NX , it seems that Lexus has finally listened to its customers and updated the infotainment system in which it will be carried out to the rest of lineup ( and hopefully it’ll make its way to the LC )

The LC500 especially convertible is never outclassed in any environment except performance. Lexus nailed it with classic body lines and details. Does "bouncing" off the rev limiter affect the engine

When I first saw the LC500 coupe here in Vegas parked at a gas station, I was like whoa it looks even better in person than in pictures. It was even better when it drove off just hearing that throaty V8 sound. Seeing the convertible version on here is so much cooler. Only thing I have to say about the LC500, enjoy it while you can guy's, cause I see in the next 5-10 years maybe less than that, that Lexus may end up ditching the V8 altogether. I absolutely love, Love, LOVE the LC500! I've seen a sh*t ton of videos on it, you and The Topher have done the best by far of capturing the true essence of this car. In some respects, I'd say Lexus overall. The Lexus Ethos is not about the 0-60, but the spiritual feeling you get behind the wheel or as a passenger. Whether it's on a California Coastline or cruising through the city on your way to dinner, the brand gives you a sense that you've made it. I'll take that feeling over 0-60 times or track packages...a-n-y-d-a-y. Awesome review.
