As it is, Jake and Jimmy basically never want to trade with Joez/Zack because their contestant is always terrible. Joez/Zack have no way of meaningfully contributing without getting super lucky with a great candidate falling to third. It's like if you finished last in the NFL and didn't get a high-draft pick to account for it and the good teams just kept dunking on you year after year without a system of parity to balance things out.

Only when two kids tie do the 25, 50, 75 matter and that has happened only twice. Start with first and give them 3, and give second 7, and see how the points work out. Can someone please break down the invisible boat event; like... how it works...what is the right method for getting across the pool and why? I feel like i'm losing my mind here. I watched (3) kids do the EXACT same thing with their bodies, moving their arms and legs identically...and one kid almost drowned, one was slow and steady and the other flew across the pool faster than I could run while on a moving sidewalk at the airport. It makes absolutely NO sense.

It's the worst event in the entire show. Like you said, the kids all did the exact same things and the results were wildly different. Just seems like another event they put in with unseen variables outside of the kid's control so they can have big moments like this one.
