When this scene played out for me, ngl I got a little teary eyed and choked up. Absolutely beautiful scene. The Nightsong's name is Dame Aylin and she is an Aasimar. An Aasimar is a race who are from another plane like the Tieflings, but whereas Tieflings have an infernal bloodline, Aasimars have a celestial bloodline...thus her resemblance to an "Angel."

My first run, it was a co-op play with my hubby. He was romancing Shart. He was almost in tears using all our inspirations trying to get Shart to give up Shar. He was as dedicated to saving her as I was to healing Astarion. We had no idea we would trust her.

this scene was the best scene in the whole game idc what anyone says this is it at this point in the game i was almost getting a little bored and tired of the game a little cause i had done just about everything i could up until here and then i saw this, this scene made me immediately fall in love with the game again i wanted to continue the game and the scene after along with this had me so fucking pumped to kick ketherics ass and save baldurs gate the best scene in the whole game
