Not bad I guess there's some things in the movies that can work when you do it the right way it takes practice the stuff that you see in the movies they can work as long as you practice on do it I don't think it's just fake well it's fake but something can be real if you start studying on martial arts when you do it the right way 🥋💪😉👍🥋

Nowadays ‘Muay Boran’ is only a demonstration of fighting postures. It's not actually used in the ring, as in this video Tony Jaa show it’s been used as a deadly weapon for killing opponents with 8 limbs. When you're unarmed. ‘Muay Thai’ has been adapted from ‘Muay Boran’ removing the deadly moves and adding rules and prohibitions to bring it to be sport. It's a martial art. Muay Boran = Tony jaa,Master Gae Muay Thai OG = Somrak,Buakaw,Saenchai Muay Thai newgen = Tawanchai,Rodtang,Superlek,Superbon

There are some muay boran fighters that use boran in the ring. Recently i've seen a vídeo of a Muay Chaiya practicioner winning a amateur MMA fight.

it's been established that's it's Muay Boran, Muay Thai's predecessor. Apparently, Anderson never heard of Samart Payakaroon at that point while Ong Bak hits the US mainstream, which was why Anderson's coach was against him doing it.

One of the basic elbows practiced in Silat and old forms of Muay Thai, it does make me laugh when people only believe these things work is when they are used in mma 😂
@bro81189 ай бұрын
I trained in Thai boxing for years and a lot of the muay boran moves we have done were brutal , many are meant to just do damage .... Perfect for a fight but some are not too practical. That elbow was very practical.
@Donkens5 ай бұрын
I think muay boran makes way more sense in defense terms. I trained it in thailand. Instead of cumbing your hair by the side when kicking, you have your fore arm infront of your face when kicking

It's a standard Muay Boran strike, but in Muay Thai few legends used it, like Somrak and Sagat. At that time it wasn't mainstream.
