Yeah there are a couple huge critical parts for this season in the opening if people look close enough. Core 1 was a way better opening.

I think the best mindset to have of Mushoku is not the adventure part but the fact that it's an autobiography, which is rare in mediums like this tbf. It literally is a life, with all its mundanity, drama, and adventure

When they're both old and grey, They'll laugh at adventures of the past and grampa Paul will sword dance around his grandkids! The smiles on their faces! 😭

Since Turning Point 1 (Episode 8 from Season 1) we see Sylphie delivering the pendant to Lilia, saying that she based it on a treasure held by her dad. Then in Episode 4 of Season 2 we see Elinalise noting that he had a pendant with the same shape. We did saw Sylphie's parents but their appearances were always cut short. Laws was a good friend of Paul, his team found their dead bodies on Millis, which is why Paul got depressed, started hallucinating about seeing his family dead and went hard into alcohol. A lot was cut that gave more cues, but even in the intro of last cour we see elinalise holding the pendant. Elinalise really old, REALLY, REALLY OLD due to Elf Blood. Also... Luke wanting to "Test Rudeus"... test the man that exploded Badigadi in one shot.... he's dumb xD

It's not that dumb, mages are notoriously weak at close range no matter how much firepower they have and Badi gave him all the time he wanted in that fight. Plus like they said, it was a matter of pride.

People often mistaken MT as an adventure anime, although it has bits of adventuring, the main story is how rudy lives his life from death, childhoood and through his adulthood, along with both happiness and challenges in life, adventure is not the main plot

Elinalise's age was never confirmed in the Light Novels but she mentions that she was alive during the Laplace War, which happened around 400 years ago.

part of the content that got cut in season 1 was the explanation for the scenes with the Man God, it's implied that this version of Rudy we see is how his mind sees himself rather than how he is now. It's left vague but it's arguable that Rudeus' appearance there is part of his development from the person he was into who he is becoming as a person.

That's incorrect. Hitogami says that his eyes "see straight to the soul". That is the concrete reason for why Rudeus looks like that in the "white space", his soul is originally the soul of the original Rudeus from another world, and that is how Hitogami sees him.

@@mantrast6583 that's also partially incorrect as what he says after it is how it's about how Rudeus thinks of himself. I believe it's after the fight with Orstead, where he asks if he'll have a hole in his chest from now on. It's about how Rudeus views himself and thinks of himself. I will keep fighting this argument.

@@UncensoredScion I mean, Hitogami explains to Rudeus that he sees the soul and never knew how he looked, and what I quoted is what Hitogami says himself. That's the explanation. Hitogami saw his soul directly and was unable to see how Rudeus actually looked physically. That goes for everyone, and normally they are the same, but for Rudeus there's a difference because his soul and body are different (Hitogami also said he knew they were different). The reason why he looks like that in those scenes is because that is his soul as Hitogami sees it.

The Man-God didn't know what Rudeus looked like before getting to this world so...(drum roll) the only one who does know what he looks like is himself. Therefore (ba-dum-tiss) the only one who sees Rudeus like that is himself, because he's overly critical of himself and it's what the fucking story is about, the man living his life and trying to be a better person than he was before. I mean I'm SURE there was a scene where the Man God actually said he wasn't the one who brought Rudeus to this world as he doesn't have that power and then said he only sees what Rudeus shows him. I MEAN CMON ITS OBVIOUS!!!

For a bit of context from th novels Without spoilers. Elinalise gives a copy of her pendent to all her children when they become independent as a momento. not much left out really, That jacuzzi wos Rudeus Idea, it was originally part of a laundry room but rudeus being japanese he likes baths, he made all the ceramics with earth magic, the dwarf master who leed the renovation team really liked the idea. Rudeus tought his time to teach Sylphie how to use it and thoroughly washed his new bride. the reception was allmost the same as in the novels Tho Ariel did gave Rudeus royal presents in the Asuran novility intimate circle fashion.... Those were a Dildo For Sylphie and a bottle of the aphrodisiac for Rudeus his reaction was priceless with the big disparity between atendes social status ranging from Royalti to adventurers and a slave girl they decided that the best course of acction was to use the school's uniform as dress code, they even Bought Jully a small uniform (woud have love to see that) thers other stuff Like Luke trying to Rizz up Nanahoshi who was not impress, she has conections that princess arien cud use and but its adamant in not getting involved. She allso got preatty scarred when Badigadi came to talk to her and she put both rings in a panic while he was messing up her hair and playing with Jully about the duel what we didn't get was Rudeus toughts aout Luke to say it bluntly "slow, to slow" he was expecting him to be at least as fast as Eris or Paul "being a Royal guard and all" but he recon he woud have been fine even without the Eye of forsight. Princess Ariel needs to step up her game if she wants a shoot at gaining the throne, her enemies can hire people as strong as Gislayne if not stronger.

She's not misunderstood! It's unfortunate she's not as good with words as she is with the sword but isn't that why her parents left her to be an adventurer anyway? It's sad and it sucks but I doubt people misunderstand Eris. Even she knows her weakness! It's just that we know she'll more than make up for it.
