Everyone seems to forget there was NO fodder on Egghead island. They had everyone below a certain rank vacated the island before Saturn showed up. That explains why everyone could see and perceive the black lightning. They were fodder compared to the crew now but I doubt the pre time skip crew makes it off the island even if Kizaru, the elders, and the Seraphim won’t present. This was the best the Navy had to offer.

Also, Lili might have someone that Imu actually called about back in their normal lives -- and had been the first person to be absorbed into what Imu had become, maybe while testing out those new powers. Since Imu's face is always covered, it might be some sort of amalgamation of all who had become part of the "Great Imu." Once beautiful, the face of Lili is barely recognizable. It makes sense why Imu would have been gazing at Lili's portrait.

Maybe all devil fruits are a part of Imu, and by being a member of the Nerona clan allows you to have multiple devils. Iv been wanting to see if anyone agrees with this theory but for a while iv wondered how bonney and kuma that are deeply connected with saturn are also kinda connect with imu. so here me out I think imu has bonneys devil fruit and thats why he is able to use it on others, maybe a stronger version of it idk. because one thing that always bothered me is that bonney has a devil fruit power but no fruit. The devil fruits only seems to usually have 1 owner, so who owns that fruit and where could they have gotten the lineage factor for bonney to get it. The fact that her pain stems from imu and saturn, what if imu has the devil fruit that bonney uses but hes the real original user. she is able to affect multiple ppl as well as imu based on here imagination :D
