how does this compare to Melodyne as far as your preference in quality of pitch correction between the two vs the time saved using either of them? Is one better than the other or is one more efficient than the other? And what do you recommend for creating harmonies using the lead vocal?

Looks awesome and it's so good to know this is possible! I'm still using GB and not sure I'm ready to make the switch to Logic... have you ever found anything like this that is supported by GB? And regarding Repitch, do you still recommend Waves Tunes for GB users? Thanks so much Colin - really helpful stuff!!!

I used to use GB which is really great but I switched to Logic it’s so much better and several of the things u do in GB can be done more efficiently in Logic. In reality, Logic is a beefed up version of GB the interface (look) is just about the same. Don’t be afraid to switch. At first may seem scary but then u will get used to it. U can also NOT turn on the advanced features until ready so will feel still a bit like GB.

I took your advice and bought the bundle through Sweetwater during Black Friday. Great Deal. I do have a couple of questions. were the harmonies created from the lead vocal track using Repitch or Flex Pitch or were the harmonies actually performed by your band members? Can I assume that a harmony plugin would be done before using vocalign or can vocalign actual create harmonies from the lead vocal?

Hi Colin, How is the plugin CPU-wise? Would you recommend bouncing down the aligned tracks? If so, would it be a case of doing what you show in the video and then using the bounce in place function on the double/harmony tracks? Cheers!

hey colin, genuinely love your videos. I’m still pretty new to producing and have ive never paid for a plugin. do you suggest this be something i get as my first paid plugin or do you think there might be other fundamental stuff i should look into while keeping this one in the back of my mind.

Although I own this great plugin and would really recommend it, I will also add that it is mostly just a time saver. You don’t need this plugin to align and tune, but what this plugin does is makes the process quicker.

This will probably be the reason I switch to logic from GB. The flex tool is nice but damn I wish this worked for GB. I started my free trial before realizing this too D;
