The calmness with which Alex has 5s on the clock left and his opponent has like 2mins. And then calmly follows several more moves, pensively explained along the way, and suddenly his opponent resigns due to the sudden pressure and blundering a move. Mind blowing.

Exactly! With funny and clever observational analogies to go with his repertoire

People understand the danger of being in time trouble and blundering, but they often overlook that if their opponent is in time trouble and they move fast as a way to take advantage, they're also playing under time pressure and might themselves blunder! If you have an increment and get good at playing on your increment you can save a lot of games this way. And if you have a time advantage... try to make good moves. You op can think on your move, but they're playing a half move behind so your time advantage still works.

@AlexBanzea I've improved from 1100-1600 rapid from watching your videos. Could you show a game with Jobova vs the Grundeld? The pawn on D5 screws up the KID line and I feel like my Jobova Knight is blocking my C pawn. Also how to deal with the immediate pin on your Jobova knight. I didn't know if there are a lot of people playing the Jobova, so people know how to play against it, but it feels like I rarely get the pawn storm or KID, and it just ends up being like a London where my knight is misplaced. Thanks!

Another banger of a video. Good stuff. I've transitioned from playing the english to the Jobava exclusively over the last year. I have many thousands of games in the Jobava. I've beat many 2000+ players with it. I like how it makes some very wild and unconventional type of positions. I wish I could chat with you a bit about it. Curious, what do you think about Danya's Jobava course and ideas? I have yet to buy it, so I can't make a full assessment, but it has a few key ideas that differ. For example, in the pawn storm with Bf5, they recommend to get the knight to d5 FIRST before pawn storming. I've attempted this, but find myself less successful(but it could be I'm just gleaming the ideas off videos where he touches on it). I don't typically buy chessable courses anymore, not a fan of the repetitive move trainer(it turns my brain off), but I will almost certainly buy yours if it's loaded with videos. I have two very specific positions I encounter once in awhile in the Jobava, that just wreck me. Wish I could pick your brain about them. I recently experienced it against a WGM and now again today against a random. Anyways, thanks for all the great content and training material :)
