The Logitech G915 TKL looks like a tenkeyless version of the standard G915 Lightspeed gaming keyboard but there's a lot more to it. The G915 TKL fixes a lot of the issues & problems we found with the G915 but there's also the price.....and that's still really high.

For those asking about how we got G-HUB to work, we have a beta version that was given to reviewers before the product was officially on sale. Technically G-HUB SHOULD have been updated by the time the G915 TKL went on sale. We honestly don't know what happened.

That explains everything! I wish they'd drop a version with added support for the TKL as a "stopgap" until they can fully release the next update.

I've been trying all day today as I'm working on my own review of this keyboard. I wasn't part of the reviewers who were given the beta. I also read on Logitech's forum that Logitech has not uploaded the patch for G Hub to recognize G915 TKL yet, until the keyboard's official release date, which should be June 10th I believe... (5 days from now at the time of this comment)

Yeah this is surprising considering the fact they moved MX Master mouse to Type C, so it's not like they are using micro usb for everything they produce, which would then explain the micro usb choice just because all their products have it....but they actually have type c products.

Been waiting for this keyboard for so long. I've researched the crap out of this and as far as I can tell, there is literally no other keyboard that does the four things this one does: Long battery life, tenkeyless, mechanical, RF wireless. There are plenty of other boards that check 3 of those 4 boxes, but none as far as I know that get all four of them. Low-profile is just a bonus for me.

I've had both, and got a TKL for ergonomic purpose (more space), then after a while, I realized that I don't use my number keys, for literally anything. So I went full TKL, with that said, don't let wireless gas your head up, pro's play on everything wired, no latency, draws more power which means high light levels, etc. Wired is the way to go, but if you "must" have one, get the g915 either used or renewed, no point in paying full price, especially when you can get other brands like Glorious with better functions and key caps that they sell directly.

i bought the standard 915 today and i'm super happy with it. yes it's pricy, but the typing experience is amazing (got the tactile switches), the wireless makes for a super clean looking desk and the keyboard itself just looks superb in my opinion. the volume wheel on mine does have quite some drag, so that seems to be a difference to the TKL version. but they removed the imput lag of the wheel for the normal 915 as well.

I finally took the plunge on the linear version of this keyboard. Horribly expensive, but it's been fantastic for gaming and it's just a joyous typing experience - my accuracy is so much higher on this keyboard, and I can truly touch-type. The keycaps on my board have minimal rattle and waaay less than the version you reviewed - not sure if that's a difference between the linear and tactile versions, or whether they've changed something since the review. It's a beautifully engineered piece of kit and it feels so good to type on your just want to keep using it. So yeah, I feel a bit guilty for spending so much on a keyboard, but it's such a pleasing experience I don't regret it. :)

I have the full size G915 and Keychron V2. (Both with blues). Here's my little review. I picked up the g915 at a local tech shop about 2 weeks ago for a pretty good deal at $200. The Keychron v2 was my main keyboard for about 2 months. The Keychron has this common issue where if you were to lightly push down on the key, the key would register without activating the "actuation point" physically on the keyboard. I personally didn't mind it too much, but it would sometimes get annoying when typing because I would rest my thumbs on the space bar, and randomly activating it. Battery life of the Keychron was around a solid 4-5 days before a recharge. The g915 on the other hand feels like what the Keychron could've been. The keys don't randomly actuate due to pressure, and overall the typing experience was much better. Keys feel very satisfying and I find that I type faster and more accurately with the g915 than ANY other keyboard I have ever used. I'm usually around the 80-90WPM mark with other keyboards, but with the g915, I got 98wpm on my first ever use. Battery life on this thing is fantastic. After a HEAVY week of use, the battery is at 43%.

This keyboard should cost 1/10 of the original price. It is ridiculous. I bought it and used it for couple months and I was so disappointed. NOTHING about this keyboard is worth the price. Keycaps and switches suck. They are wobbly unpleasant to type on and the noise is just horrible. Ergonomy is mediocre and RGB is nothing special. ... and don't let me start on G-HUB. I sold mine and bought low profile Keychron and with the money I had left I bought my wife Ben&Jerry. Seriously don't buy it. It is NOT worth it.

I love the G915 keyboard series, but micro usb in 2020 is an indefensible oversight, especially at this price point. I also really want the secondary functions lit up on the keys. Those aren't bad enough to make me switch to a different keyboard, but they would take the 915 from "wow, this is a great keyboard" to "omfg this is the best keyboard ever".

The secondary keys not being illuminated is like a whole star off all together, I cant tell you the last time I played games with my room overhead lights on, I tend to just use RGB Standing Lights and a small lamp and while the lamp is bright enough to illuminate the keyboard a bit its frustrating for the price you dont get every function to be illuminated.

I don't regret getting my full size G915 over this - but really wish they include the USB compartment on my full size frame (and allowing for the same F keys customizability would be nice too) that and I wish HC would mention the lack of secondary character illumination in their original review of the G915 - THAT IS A BIG DEAL, especially when you aren't always typing in English

It's annoying, but you can fix the keycap rattle by putting a piece of paper (I used index cards) on top of the switch stem. Just one layer is enough to tighten up the fit and get rid of the rattle. Then lube the stabilizers and it's quite nice.

On a scale of 1-100, I give it about an 88 for the 10 key version, which has 5 function keys on the left side. Might bump it up if they didn't charge so much. Here's my review from Amazon (specifically for fast typing): I think it's a very good (but not great) keyboard for people who can type very fast. I type about 90wpm and it's hard to find a good keyboard for long-term frequent use. The keys are almost perfect but I wish they would refine it and get rid of some of the top wobble (or get rid of all of it). It's pretty easy to setup via bluetooth. My complaints: - Without the LED backlighting on, the lettering on the keys is very hard to see. - The function keys at the left side should have been put in a better area. It's too easy to press a function key (esp. if you are trying to type fast) by accident. - Too much top wobble, but it's not bad. - the keytops are a little sharp (irritation) - Too much noise. Not horrible but a little too annoying. - Looks good but still has a bit of a cheap feel. - They left the labels off the Prtsc/Scroll/Pause buttons. Can be annoying if you are trying to Ctrl+Break on legacy computer systems. - Some keys are not fully lit. Like, you can see the backslash key easily, but not the question mark key. Not a big deal but it just seems like a no-brainer. - Definitely not worth $250. I bought it because I was curious and couldn't find a place to try one in action. I'll be returning mine and continuing my life long quest for the Best Keyboard Ever (for fast typers). I'd probably use it as a regular keyboard when if the price was around $50-$100. Otherwise it's just got too many little "cheap" aspects to it to make it not worth a quarter of a thousand dollars. - And minor gripe, the location of the lighting changes depending on the color, so one second the top half of the letter N is lit up, then the next second the bottom half is lit. Not a big deal but again, for this price you would think it would be flawless.
