@@johanjotun1647 To be fair she is only bowl surfing. She's not popping any tricks and i think i noticed a surf truck on the front of her board, since it was so damn loose! She must be really good at surfing, you can see her make the same movements as she is going up and down the bowl as a surfer would. Either way, id want fucking shoes for that... Its still scary as fuck!

@adam That's how it was for my crew when we watched Natas skate for the first time. It was literally other worldly seeing him doing crazy wallrides and nocomplys back then. He made us want to skate our crappy little town and brought it back to life . I swear without 80s street exploding with skaters like Natas ,Gonz and Mike V my life would have taken a bad path. It's a lifestyle mixed with art-style...That's why I loved seeing shaped decks coming back into popularity. Skateboarding lost its spirit around 1995 , the whole hip-hop scene changed things . Atleast from my perspective it changed in a bad way. Boards had no flavor plain popsicle sticks and style disappeared . ...It was like individualism switched to a borg like vibe , "you must skate this size board and wheels" or you're not a legit skater. There was a really negative atmosphere for many years.

Weird?!.....WEIRD?!!!! I’m a cranky old dude, and if you saw the bullshit we loved to skate, you’d be stunned. The surface on that park is more delicious than a freshly ground indoor mall! S o o o s m o o o t h, no rocks, no holes, cracks, sharp reo bar....just skate heaven. So good, he’s literally only limited by his imagination and skill! When rhe dog appeared I thought “ Finally, some dog shit to add some game!”....but even the dog was all etiquette! I’m not sure we even dreamed skate parks this sweet!

I haven't skated since 1995 and I don't watch skateboarding media. But I've been consuming anything on KZbin with Andy, anything I can find. He's obviously put in the work to learn all these tricks, but it seems like he's transcended "tricks" and is truly expressing himself. Just simple stuff like touching the lip at 6:25. Which it seems is the next level for any great person, they eventually transcend the medium itself.

Andy shredded like a madman for the first half of the video, but the second half of the video where he just goofed around, where most of his tricks seemed like they had a comedic rhythm to them, not even trying to have flow, just being quirky for quirkiness' sake, that was great in a different kind of way. Both parts were Andy at his finest IMO.
