2:45 The logo for Golden Wheel is a Golden Wii Wheel! Does this mean Nintendo products are canon in Mario games? Mario, Luigi and Peach were holding Wii Wheels in the intro movie of Mario Kart Wii.

Thwomp Ruins is my favourite track of the cup. I like the music, the anti-gravity elements and just the theming in general. It suggests some ancient history to the Thompson but adds an air of mystery by not explaining it.
