It may seem like bias but i do agree with this opinion, 1 and 3 hit in a smiliar spot, a single massive haunted place and a somewhat dark atmosphere with the Family Friendly Nintendo ip side of things, but 2 was a perfect game for what it had to acomplish, a take it on the go game, levels meant to be taken in smaller bites and a combat system that reworks on the grounds of the original game, the remake that it got on switch is perfect because the switch is a hybrid console, its meant to also be taken on the go, while the online is left 4 de- i mean... couch gameplay, its not perfect but works better for larger playtimes than in the 3ds for sure

I feel like the tough possessor deserves a tier because I felt somewhat frustrated with the fight, and I feel like the boolossus (big boo) fight should be D. Maybe even f, I don’t know. But I found it harder than the shrewd possesor

- Minor Spoiler Alert - I've been a fan of the series for quite some time, and I've only played Dark Moon, 3, and 2HD. However I think that the mission structure is strange compared to the other games, and I would even confidentially say that 3 is a better game. In my opinion, it's like BOTW vs TOTK, Tears of the Kingdom is an objectively better game, but I love Breath of the Wild more because of memories. Despite this, I believe that the mission system actually adds one important thing to the game that people seem to overlook. In Dark Moon, you actually feel like you're working for E. Gadd. Luigi doesn't even realize that his brother is missing until the final mansion; the one I'd say is most alike to the original from a design perspective. E. Gadd tells you to do something, you do it, report back, and the cycle continues until before said final mansion where Luigi ambushes the ghost's own trap. Once Luigi finds out that Mario is in danger, the game's tone shifts dramatically, even if the player found out in the photo from Haunted Towers.

i played this game when i was ten, played it over and over again and still play it today. the fact that u put shrewd possessor in F tier… i taking your ranking license

Sure, all that looks good on paper but minecraft is way more enjoyable even if updates are not the greatest, thats all this video is, just blaming updates, the truth however is that its hard to make something so great even greater

Just remember, too much complaining about graphics is what makes genuinely creative and cool art styles in games that are amazing seem garbage and makes mass produced hyper realistic slop seem amazing.

I played the switch version of the Dark mine Ice boss and only just passed it first try. (In the second phase, he refroze the defence ice 2 times and the sled nearly reached toasty heat levels.) Ironically, the 3rd phase was a breeze. (It took me about 20 or so attempts to beat it in the 3DS version 10 years ago.)

I bought Luigi's Mansion 2 HD cause of this video. I hope you make more videos in the future and you remind me of peanut butter gamer. Hope things are well with you.

One thing I hated most about 3, was how the ghost don't really try to hurt you they just watch you while you slam a ghost, so it's not really that threatening, but in dark moon, the ghost don't care they'll ruin you perfect suck up for that highest amount of money just to hurt you. But I do think the original had it where it actually feels like you're struggling to suck up the ghosts, and it feels stressful when a ghost attacks you while you're busy sucking up another.

LM2 is still a game I really love, even after playing the HD version it still very much is an extremely solid and fun game

I hope the next mario kart has Coconut mall base game so we get a massive upgraded version instead of the mobile port in 8

Okay, I promise I’m not just flexing, but I legit not only found the ice guy to not be hard, but was actually pretty easy, as a kid he’s the boss I replayed the most. I do understand why some people find it difficult though, the timing can be hard to figure out, once you do though it’s not hard. However I should mention after it came out I fell in love with the splatoon franchise, a motion controlled shooter, so do what you want with that info. Idk I just always enjoyed it, and enjoyed playing it again in the switch version

Ok counterpoint on the Boolossus fight having no build up. THATS THE POINT. It was a trap for Luigi. And to a lesser extent same with the sisters, half the time you encounter a new ghost there is no build up, there are hundreds of them of course some are just gonna pop up out of nowhere.

I really really love this , my only criticism is you said the default font was boring, then used it for majority of the shop signs! i liked the personality of the old extruded shop fronts , but everything else was great especially the details

There is one huge difference between Luigi's Mansion, 2 HD and Luigi's Mansion. Dark Moon The fourth mansion boss can actually be done with the left stick or right stick. Don't remember which one

Easy 1 3 2 One still cannot be beat and I feel it’s the scariest out of the 3. 3 is great but it’s missing something that 1 had but it’s a step in the right in the right direction. 2 is the weakest of the 3 and should not be mission based
