From the Cog Squad. Jason and Brook sent me here. I am a73 year old gradma and I have always loved building things with wood. Small things like spice racks, Bird houses and sings. Thought you might inspire me.

There are many possibilities with lasers, many things can be cut from affordable plywood for uses such as those.

Nice! I recently added the extensions to my P20. Picked up the rotary too. I did have one weird problem with the extension tho. The Y-axis was all janky on burns, really noticeable doing circles. I finally found it thanks to your video on calibration. When I finally tried pushing on one end of the gantry I notice the other was lagging quite a bit. And then I realized the shaft wasn't moving at the same time as the motor. But the coupler seemed tight, and I was careful not to bottom out the shaft on the motor. Turned out the threads in the coupler had some cruft in them so the screw would get tight, but not actually clamp up. Chased the threads with an appropriate tap and that fixed it. I confess my setup is HEAVILY inspired by yours!

When I assembled my V35 I had a noise in the X movement. I adjusted the rollers and could never get rid of the noise. I found out after having it for a long time it was the pin on the focusing lever when up was rubbing on the gantry. Got out my Dremel and slightly grind the pin to clear the gantry. Other than that it has been a great machine.

Can you point me in the direction of where you have a switch to change between rotary and bed? Maybe in one of your videos? I hate pulling the wire out each time. I did turn the stepper motor to make it easier.

Say Im thinking of upgrading from the 10w comgrow but i want another brand 40w module or even the atzer 35w module can it be done and how?
@TheClackShack Жыл бұрын
A few companies make module upgrades but it requires an additional power supply. It.may be better to get a whole machine
@amoreyjones565 Жыл бұрын
Ok well ifyou get I would liketo see even a shorts video on uprading the module vs a whole machine pro and cons and demonstration.

Hmmmm. at 20:53 you say "upload the sd card" . You got an sd card with your 35v?
@TheClackShack Жыл бұрын
Every laser that I have gotten has came with a micro SD card and USB card reader. That is where they send the files with the machine. It is also used to transfer files to the machine when using the offline controller.

@@TheClackShack Interesting. I have an xtool d1 pro that I had to go "find" the download and the same with my atezr v35.

Why the V35 and not the L2 36W?
@TheClackShack Жыл бұрын
I cant afford to give up work are. When I went to upgrade, there were no extensions to get for the L36. I also just like the simplicity of the V series.
