TRAVEL UPDATE: I'm currently in Costa Rica - the country where all my travels and journey in Spanish began almost 10 years ago (before youtube)..I've been traveling non stop for over a month and I've probably filmed over 20 videos for both my English & Spanish channels but I haven't had a minute to edit any of them. In Costa Rica, I'm lucky enough to have a host family who hosted me over 5 times on my previous channels. I consider them my real family although they have nothing to do with Wisconsin or the U.S. And that brings up a good point - without them or my family and contacts in the USA or Europe - traveling would be far to expensive to sustain because the USA is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. With that being said, I'll do my best to make a video on how I afford to travel and how I've networked over the years to make this dream life happen as well as all the travel adventures from Chicago, Wisconsin, LA, Costa Rica, and more Latin American countries. After that, it's back to Spain. For now, I'm enjoying a trip down memory lane and cherishing the experiences I'm having on and off camera. Take care and see you on future videos!
Why are you saying Tiny nation Albania is not tiny bro there are 10 million Albanian speaking in the region!

Pura vida. Try food like chifrijo, pinto, and Casado. It would be great if you can reach Chirripo mountain top although is raining so not sure if that would be plausible. Best of luck.

I love the way you dive in and mingle with the rural villages and people! Thats a way of travelling a country and connecting with the people hardly any tv documentary produced with a million of dollars/euros has ever achieved! You take us to places and people hardly anyone, even if he travels a few months every year has ever visited and filmed before in this depth and I want to thank you for that! Of course travellers like Anthony Bourdain, The guys from Top gear and Grand Tour and a few others, even a few youtubers have done it before, but your style is still unique because you WALK through this areas, talk to people in different languages, and try to connect with them instead of displaying them like a trophy or just an interesting background to enhance your videos! Thanks for uploading and thumbs up as always!🙂👍🏼

The chick doesn't understand that donkeys are work animals because farmers can't afford motorized vehicles for farming. Animals aren't abandoned but they are stray animals who reproduce in the streets. Animals are treated just fine here.

When I was in corfu, in mid 90's we hired a speed boat & the owner said, "Whatever you do, do not cross near Albania." Year before, a tourist were shot dead after getting to Albania & pulling up on a beach. It's a beautiful country, just have your wits about you.

That sounds like real story in the 90s .. however nowadays I’d say it’s safer than many places in Western Europe

@@AdventureElliot Not even in the 90s, up to the 80s perhaps. But our lovely and kind neighbours cannot come to terms that we attract tourists also nowadays and will say just about anything to discourage them.

24:10 Albania left the Warschauer alliance, they were paranoid that Russia the USA or Yugoslavia would invade. They only where allied with China and even that ended fairly quickly, since Enver hoxha sad that “they are not communist enough“. They where highly militarized, even haven 4 submarines wich they stole from the Russians. I personally don’t know if it was for “nothing“, since (imo) they would have definitely been invaded if they would not have been that militarized. Invading that country would have been a nightmare, since women and man had to learn in school how to defend themselves, how to shoot, and how to strategically use the bunkers, there where extra drills for that. There is even at least one atomic bunker (I think there are 3 overall), and a lot of big bunkers inside the mountains. Some mountains bunkers even had starting ramps for airplanes, but I don’t know if that is true. Albania was like North Korea. The biggest problem was the isolation of the country. It was the 3th poorest country in the World after the regime changed.
