Watched my 85 year old mom exhibit quiet confidence in everything good/bad that she's had to go thru over the years. Concluded that in the worst/best of times she steadfastly showed up for herself...wether it was losing a child or getting a high promotion at work. She made her bed every morning and tied her braid every night no matter what. She ate her sprouts and walked her mile no matter what. She showed herself in a zillion little ways everyday that she mattered. She lives alone, everybody having died or moved away...still makes her bed and ties her braid....and grows her own sprouts and gloats over them when I call every morning. Confident in the quiet self respect her creation deserves...not even trying...just being.

I’m a Somali woman, born in Saudi Arabia to a devout Muslim family, who in 1990 ended seeking political asylum in the EU after the Somali civil war at the age of 13, with my mother and two younger sisters. Our dad left us when I was 5 y/o and since then, all I recall is being the man of the house. I went to the best European colleges to study international conflict resolution, and eventually went to a prestigious US postgraduate institution with a full ride scholarship to complete a Masters Degree in International Affairs. I hold multiple degrees, speak 7 languages, been a foreign Service officer for many years, but had a very rough marital life because I had no understanding of all these attachment styles, feminine/masculine energy and the importance of growing my emotional intelligence, in addition to my spiritual, intelectual and physical intelligence as a wholesome being. I’m grateful for your videos. Keep up the good work. ❤

Calm. In control. Experienced. Detached. And fearless. The key to truly being fearless is being at peace with everything... even your own death. Especially your own death. The death of yourself and even the closest one you love. You need to know deep down inside that no matter how hard it gets you will be able to endure any pain and loss and push forward straight through... to the end. That is what it means to have TRUE STRENGTH. And there is no true confidence without true strength. That is all.

Moved to the United States from Turkey when I was 6. Didn’t know the language and was a shy little girl. Raised in an extremely judgmental household, I was always self conscious about everything I said or did. Now I’m 21 years old. I am still growing and learning to accept myself no matter who I am. This video helped me so much because I feel less alone as others have very similar experiences and there are people out there just like me who are good hearted and perfectly made with amazing character. Since I’ve moved from place to place my whole life I hope that one day I find my people who I will be real friends with.

Thank you. ❤ It’s funny, I’ve had that exact same thought about my face - if I hate my face then I hate all the lovely ancestors who brought me to where I am today in this incredible life. I can’t do that. My face is my heritage, and even if it’s not perfect, it’s the only face like this, and it represents an entire lineage of people. All of this was just incredible. Thank you so much.

Thank you, I really needed this. Currently in a situation with a long time friend about making plans about moving. In the past she bailed on me after months of planning to move somewhere so it put me a pretty sticky situation finding somewhere last minute. This time, because we’ve been friends I have a soft spot for her, but at the same time I never stood up for myself in the past with solid boundaries. I’m going to call her tomorrow saying we can be roomies but you can’t back out last minute and I need to be able to rely on you. I think I have an abandonment wound, so I’m afraid to state boundaries in fear of losing people. I now realize that I should be able to have healthy boundaries and if certain people can’t stick around because of that, then they’re just not meant to be in my life.

The part where she admits that it’s ok to admit “I don’t know” when you’re in a room or a space and it being confidence to admit that, and when she said “you’re not always going to be the smartest in the room” I experienced that yesterday. I’m in this “group of friends” … and we were talking about animal behavior, and I admitted I didn’t know something about wild cats (I have a cat so we were comparing domestic to the big wild cats) And then this person got annoyed towards the end of the conversation almost saying “ugh you’re so annoying to converse with” or almost wanted to say “you’re stupid” but then when I started talking about leeches and maggots and how they are used for medicinal stuff, he immediately interrupted me and wanted to be the one to say the information.. Then someone else joined and started talking about the pyramids and the conspiracies related to them, the same person who got annoyed with me kept trying to show off that he knows this and that and he got something wrong and the person who opened up the pyramid subject corrected him and somewhere in the conversation, the person who interrupted me said “that’s why I don’t always look this up cuz I already know” and the person who opened the pyramid subject said “I’m open to learning something from anyone” And in my mind I was like “bam! That is a person of growth, not this person who made me feel dumb for not knowing something and then immediately interrupts me for wanting to share information about leeches and maggots” I then went to sleep thinking “it’s fine, if this person or anyone wants to think I’m dumb, fine, I can’t control that, but I know a person who is a “know it all” doesn’t know shit”😂

Margarita, I love how you said: how you react when someone ghosts you is what will set the standard of your confidence in your own head. The standard of confidence or our worth, that is set in our own head, is what we have to live with every day and is what will make or break us. I have been affected in the past too much by external circumstances, or trying to prevent certain circumstances from happening causing a lack of confidence and anxiety. Now it is clear that what happens outside of me is not my confidence. How I react to it is. Thank you very much, this brought me much peace ❤️

The woman who has the power to walk away, gives her soul, the space to heal... 2. She allows the man to have clarity regarding her value... 3. She is able to ponder the error/s of her ways... 4. She learns her own strength and power and femininity and divinity and magic... 5. She re-calibrates her soul, and moves back to the Creator's default... 6. She gives God the necessary space to bless her...
