I've watched so much Farnsey in the last two years - but I'm not sure I've seen this. I'm going to sit down with a coffee and enjoy every minute of it. Thank you for reacting to John's performances. I love it when one of your reactions to John pops up when I'm scrolling YT for craft and other videos. Jimmy Barnes - there are interviews, documentaries about Jimmy's career on YT - really worth viewing. And yes, anything by John always makes me happy as well... There are many singers I really like, and have got their albums, but none of them gives me the "happy" vibes. . I watch just one performance, any one of his repertoire. and I'm joining in and I'm smiling.. Just love him and his backing singers and his band - they are a wealth of individual talents. Aug'24. UK. That song IS a Cold Chisel song that John was covering. SO Jimmy (one of) lead singer of Cold Chisel was John's very special guest appearance singing his own stuff BTW Cold Chisel are a Aussie Rock legends, they tried the US but got pissed off due to the corruption over there. Came back home to stay Yay!😄👏 Their song "You Got Nothin' I Want" is the result. EVERY band member is SO talented👌🏼

Jimmy Barnes is the lead singer of Cold Chisel. Steven Prestwich from Cold Chisel wrote this eong and released it. John Farnham loves the eong and does a cover in live performances

Jimmy Barnes can hit some high notes too. I am sure someone else can give you details of his range. You have to see John Farnham and Jimmy Barnes singing "When Something is Wrong With My Baby". The guitarist and backing vocals on this song is Johnny Diesel (Diesel) aka Mark Lizotte, married to Jimmy Barnes' wife's sister. So they are brothers-in-law. Diesel is another great singer. The whole Barnes family is very talented.

They are great friends . John as u know is a wonderful happily married man. We call them Barnsey & Farnsey. Jimmy is a wonderful man as well, he’s a father, grandfather and a great grandfather and been married to Jane over 40 years. And jimmy’s children and now grandchildren sing or play musical instrument. We got the best - John and Jimmy and both their families. Let alone decades of amazing music.

Steve Prestwich wrote the song, he was drummer for Cold Chisel with Jimmy Barnes, and later for LRB with John Farnham, - so we have 2 great singers /bands who both recorded the song,..... and occasionally these two great singers got together. as others have recommended, 'When something is Wrong with my Baby' - a 'Barnesy' and 'Farnsey' duet, ( with the added talent of Diesel) always do LIVE, - also worth doing is same 3 singing 'In The Midnight Hour' - but this time it's Diesel with Jimmy and John , ( LIVE 1991) - Thankyou, I enjoy your reactions.

Jimmy was one of two lead singers cold chisel had as this is their song and other singer Ian moss as good Also amazing guitar 🎸 player John does some of cold chisel songs and cold chisel did some of john's as well Two Aussie ledgens together on stage and are good mate's Cold chisel is another rabbit hole and later on Jimmy went solo would make guest appearances with band when not doing solo stuff Between them both in top ten charts for 5/6 decade's in Australia 🇦🇺 cold chisel was a hard rock pub band Cheers mate 🦘🇦🇺👍

No disrespect to Jimmy, but he seems to just be a screamer with not much vocal technique 🤷‍♀️🫠 john on the other hand is a master vocalist 🥰❤️
