The class variation and class interdependence in EQ is (IMO) what made it stand out and has us still talking about it (and playing it!) almost 25 years later. Can't wait for that interview.

Thanks! I hope it provides some insight. He has some interesting remarks. He doesn't get into the weeds as much as I would have liked, but there is some really interesting tidbits on how it was created overall.

I agree, all classes feel unique. I have played many mmo's through the years (currently EQ2), but no other game have nailed the class system as well as original EQ.

Oh, I'll finish that for you .... "Daily when? /smack!" Hehe, just kidding. I wish I could produce them daily. I can barely produce them weekly! For every minute of video, it takes about 10 hours of real time editting, shooting, producing, writing etc. So, for a 10 minute video, it's about 100 HOURS of work! (That's 2.5 weeks of a full time job!)

Most of the graphics have been updated for newer NPC models. I turned on many of the old models for this video, since I was discussing the early character models of the game.
