Yeah, it seems like our racks have a bit of play in them as well. We don't get a ton of vibration from that though. We get our wheels and driveshaft balanced and that seems to take care a lot of that rotational vibration. Supposedly tightening that flat head on the top of the rack 'cleans up the slop' but we still have little play up and down.

That’s what I figured. We haven’t been super diligent about balancing our wheels and I think that’s the issue.
