I like the raspberry salt and citrus. Haven't tried chocolate salt or lemon habanero. I didn’t like the spicy one, orange, or plain. Ordered the raspberry already. I put mine in about 3 cups of water and a good amount of ice - the saltiness is very mild - I was surprised by that. Get a variety pack and try it - they ship pretty quick. The twins have been reminding viewers quite a bit so get some. You probably will find one or two favorites.

I'm in this lifestyle forever, lazy keto. If this is a cult, I'm happy to help lead it so that others can benefit from it as I have. Have lost 50 lbs. and reversed my type II diabetes, and a host of other health benefits my doctor is pleased with. This is the best I've ever felt. I AM TECHNICALLY KETO and proud. I have lost 50 pounds too. I am more doing low carb. Maybe you call it lazy keto. I can’t wait to go to the doctor that told me I needed all this ‘medication’ and ‘that diet is dangerous’. I was diabetic and have not had high blood sugar in almost 2 years….among other things. I haven’t been to her since she ticked me off. I was going to look for another doctor, but thought, after losing 50 pounds and lowering my sugar, I really want to rub it in her face. Sorry….not sorry! These ladies have been a life saver for me. I watch them often. I recently found a video where they were talking about getting stuck. I was stuck for over 6 months! But did not want to gain back what I lost. In their video they were talking about cells retaining wAter. I found another video talking about losing weight by getting in a hot tub. I have a hot tub, so started getting in it daily about 3 weeks ago. I lost 9 pounds! Hope it hasn’t stopped. But I am happy happy happy! Would say I wasn’t sure that helped, but I stopped a week and started again. Stopped losing and started again. I wonder if the massage released the water in the cell. At least that is what I thought.

About 3 years ago, I developed Epilepsy after a vascular hemorrhage in my brain. I stopped working out then and gained a bunch of weight. I discovered Keto and it helped me lose most of that weight. After that, I learned that Keto was actually developed 100 years ago for folks with Epilepsy, because it reduces inflammation in the brain. And that diet helps reduce the number of seizures that folks have, by several fold. Forgive me if I’m repeating something you guys already know, but I just wanted people to be aware that it’s actually been around for a long time and has been a great help for people who suffer from seizures. LOVE y’all’s channel and your recipes!!! The keto lifestyle isn't easy, but you two make it much more attainable for the rest of us. Muah! 😘

I’m 75, lost 40lbs in 3 mos last summer with keto/omad. I’ve kept it off easily. I was borderline diabetic, high cholesterol and high Bo. Now everything is in normal range, I’ve lots of energy and don’t crave sweets or starch. It’s easy to avoid bread, pasta and other high carb foods because I don’t crave them. No diet (and I’ve been on every one there ever was) has given me such fast results and improved my health in the way keto has. I eat 2 meals a day and I’m seldom hungry. What’s not to like?? You could say anything is a cult. This is merely a successful way to eat for many of us. No need to be preachy, just answer questions and refer to some of the experts online to educate. Anyone that asks me about my diet, I just say "I'm doing Keto" in a very matter of fact voice and don't elaborate past that unless they specifically ask (they usually don't lol). Diets are kind of like politics - everyone has an opinion and everyone thinks theirs is the right one. I have found that what works for an individual is a very personal experience. Everyone's body chemistry is different. A friend (who has done keto in that past, quit and put all the weight back on - and then some) recently asked what I was doing. When I told her Keto, her snippy comment was "you know it's not healthy to do that long term". I calmly responded that I wasn't worried about it, I'd go by my blood work at the doctors. I then changed the subject. This is my 2nd round with Keto. Lost 20 lbs the first time, stopped after a year and over the next year put 8 of it back on. I restarted Keto 2 months ago and I've lost 10 lbs so far and I feel great. I've stopped looking at it as a diet and view it as a way of life. I don't have any intention of stopping unless my doctor shows me it's not healthy for me. Your content has really helped keep me inspired

Yes to everything you've said. I used to be a vegan and there is NO ONE worse than a hardcore vegan. But hardcore Keto folks can be almost as obnoxious. Anything hardcore is not good for the long-term. Yes, sure, be vigilant in the beginning, but in order for this lifestyle to be a forever thing, flexibility is the most important thing. Otherwise, you're going to go off the wagon and then crash and burn, maybe forever. Moderation in all things, especially moderation. :)

I totally agree! In the beginning of my keto journey I was researching and looking for any info I could find and joined several groups but soon left them. . . trying to ask questions would end making me feel stupid or shamed for food choices I made. It was like a list of grams of each macro and DO NOT eat anything off this list. It became so discouraging. I really just wanted motivation and encouragement, guidance when I asked for it and mostly I wanted to hear of all the success stories. I didn't care how they got there, just wanted to know there was hope for me in this lifestyle, cause in the beginning it can be difficult. If you reached out to try to help someone that was struggling, just like I did and if you tried to help them by telling them something that helped, like eating a low carb tortilla when you just wanted a taco sooo bad, well then you got slapped on the wrist, your comment deleted and threatened with being removed from the group!

I have to say, you guys inspire me to stay on keto more than any of the other keto channels I watch. I have learned a lot from all of them, but they get a bit overwhelming after a while and make me feel like I'm doing it all wrong. Well, I must be doing something right because since last November I've lost about 50 lbs and have gone down two sizes. My glucose level has gone down from over 120 to about 85. That level of weight loss for me hasn't happened since the 1990s and that didn't last. I'm 62 years old, I don't need to do it perfectly. I don't need super muscles and a bikini body. I just want to be healthier and I want to lose enough weight to feel better and feel better about myself. I can't afford "grass fed, grass finished" meats and eggs fresh from the farm and goat and shesp's milk cheeses. I'm doing the best I can and it's working. I finally feel like I've found a lifestyle, not a diet and you guys make it fun and welcoming. I've tried some of the recipes you post and I love them. The things I get from your channel answer questions I have in a simple, straightforward way that doesn't inundate me with information I don't really need and often don't even understand. So thank you for being here. You've made this journey so much better for me.

Starting Keto was a not an easy task because there is so many way to go about it. The learning curve is hard to grasp, trying find the way that is best for my person is not the same path as anyone else all people have there own stories and no one way of doing is right for everyone. I am two year in and had lost at one point 70lbs but have kept off 40lbs and have started to learn what is the style that gives me the best result with out feeling like most of the time I can't do this. I got all the books and cook books that try to create poor replacements for foods that I should not eat and only leave me wanting the real thing. Of late simple foods on keto seem to make it much less stressful and does not leave you wanting those things that that should be left behind in your past life not part of in your Keto life style. Thanks for your channel I'm a fan. Joe

Great video! Y'all are so right about the criticism! I first tried what was called "low carb" in college in the early 1970's and it really worked for me! But now at age 70 I do have lots of health issues, so I may need a stricter keto than someone like y'all who are healthy except for weight. I also struggle with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, plus arthritis and spine problems. Therefore, now I am considering what oils, etc, cause inflammation. But that is what works best for me!! Others do great with dirty or lazy keto! Like you said, it is individual needs and goals. Y'all did great explaining this. Glad to hear most of the comments are mostly positive. I am not on TikTok because I see how mean the people are there (My cousin has a decent following and the people are horrible). My favorite is when people say Keto only works because we eliminate a macronutrient. Wrong. Some carbs are fine. We eliminate sugar. People are so addicted they can't fathom giving it up. It is funny to me how people within the Keto community can be the most critical. Glad you have a pretty great community. Have a great weekend.

I love that you both are addressing this as it makes those who feel uncomfortable know that they don’t have to. I for one love keto I have probably tried over 10 diets in my 37 years and keto is the first one that has consistently worked for me and like you said I am not big on making it seem like a punishment but more of a life style for instance I intend on a planned deviation meal for sunday and I am unapologetic because at the end of the day it was my choice to do keto and it’s not a punishment. I feel like having true English muffins on sunday and I plan to have it with other treats and then pick up my keto from Monday again. My choice and nothing anyone says can make me feel bad about it. I think what’s important is know yourself and what works for you and you can create your own keto. Another example is that in most of my keto baked goods I add in 1-3 tsp arrowroot powder spread across about ten outcomes so even the carb counter sometimes doesn’t factor it because it’s minute and I don’t feel bad about it because in summary I still am eating that item way below my allotted net carbs for the day and calories and I still lose weight so I know what works for me and what doesn’t. Lastly about those videos that say don’t do this don’t eat that to be honest I simply ignore them all because I know what works for me and what doesn’t. In my country there is a saying that “something will kill someone one day”, meaning regardless of how careful one is death is inevitable so whilst alive I don’t need to stress too much about what someone says is bad or not bad. I have lost friends In the last year who were healthy to boot and those whom others judged as being unfit are still going strong so really it’s all about perpective. Let’s live our life. Nice one ladies

I have been doing keto for six months now and have been learning on the way… I have so appreciated your channel because it has really helped me. From the get-go I decided I didn’t want to be extreme so I got rid of my scale and decided to only go by how my clothes fit to determine how successful I am. I do not know exactly how much weight I have lost, but I do know that my bra size around went from a 42 to a 34 and I was wearing size 16-18 and can now wear a size 10-12 and I know I will never go back to any other way of eating. This Thanksgiving I had a piece of cheesecake that was the real deal and I kept your advice in mind. It was very easy to get right back to eating the right way and I didn’t care at all about any guilt, feelings or anything like that. This is my life! I am so thankful for keto. There are many people in my life that are complimenting me on my weight loss journey but they don’t understand the process… But I don’t care I don’t have to convince them, I’ll let the results speak for themselves in the way I look and feel. So many people want to tell everybody else what to do. That’s just dumb. We need to just lighten up and let people ask us and then if they want to know more, we can refer them to channels that can help them and I will definitely tell people about your channel if they’re serious, otherwise if they look at me like I’m crazy I just keep it sweet and simple and tell them that I eat a lot less carbs. I don’t get into the super fine details about it.

You both are doing great and are very beautiful! I probably wouldn’t be enjoying the weight loss journey as much if it wasn’t for your videos. Your honest comments are refreshing. It’s easy to get in a rut when it takes a long time to lose. Your outlook on continuing through stalls or getting back on track when we overindulge are merciful and exhort us not to give up. THANKS AND BLESS YOU BOTH AND YOUR FAMILIES!

Oh my gosh, I see it more as a supportive club group especially with your Facebook page. I just told my sister in law about it but she did ask first. I was excited and didn’t know where to start. I had her friend your Facebook and sent her your KZbin link. I told her it helped me follow you two and the Facebook because I got to read recipes, and suggestions. Not a cult but a nutritious lifestyle. Like you say Technically Keto!

Hi, I’m 73 years old and your resume of diets reads like mine. While in college I started Stillmans, lost weight and felt great. Down through the years the low carb way of eating has been my standard. I have not been religiously sticking to it but I know it works. It’s not for everyone. My daughter has jumped on the low carb wagon because it works for her. I love your conversations. You keep it honest and humorous. Thanks for being YOU.

Always good advice Sara and Emily!!! Yes there are people who think this way of eating is nuts, and there are zealots that take it to the next level. Don’t stress and stay the course.

I made the egg pudding yesterday - I used the Monk Fruit Stevia and I look forward to tasting it today. I know that after three weeks - using Factor for dinners and planning good meals to take to work that are high protein, high good fat - I feel better. Haven't lost a ton of weight but I feel better and that is great for me.

It's true, I am in some fb groups and I am scared about sharing a recipe, now I just prefer to be in those groups observing because some people comment like if they are 'the keto police'. What I am concerned, though, is about some big channels in KZbin about recipes that they say are zero net carbs when is impossible, channels that prefer to get the audience instead of saying the truth. (like the bread made with peanut butter and eggs. Zero ner carbs, according the recipe). Some people prefer not to count carbs or calories, I understand that, and some people trust the macros that channels in KZbin share, but they lie quite a lot. Keep it simple at the beginning is the best advice, as you always say :) Thank you for your videos 💖
