If governments like america and isreal stopped putting forced backdoors in these Intel/AMD chips probably would be less leaky. Really interesting with window updates to speed. With these downloaded boost in speed, one must wonder how much more is there?

@@1984Captive And the earth is falt too right? No disclosures have ever confirmed a backdoor lol. Or you could just provide proof? I mean insted of lisening to one lonely computer geek in 2019. If you’re targeted, you are screwed because computers are swiss cheese to highly advanced attackers, meaning CPU backdoors aren’t needed

Other testers showed that the 23H2 update will bring the improvement you showed, but 24H2 will bring another similar improvement over the latest 23H2 patch. At least in videoediting, I saw an improvement with this patch (on AMD 9950x), and I guess I'll smile again after the 24H2 update in some weeks. .

I downloaded this optional update, but completely disabled future updates because I use a vr hmd that needs wmr. 24H2 will remove this feature. So until it's officially removed (already deprecated) and I buy a new hmd, I have to stay on this older version.

I was hyped to install this a couple days ago, couldn't find it in Windows Update and finally realized that it had automatically been updated a week earlier. Hadn't noticed anything but you can't really notice a 5%-15% rise in CPU speed when you're GPU bound 90% of the time.

Maybe there needs to be a Windows Intel Edition and AMD Edition?
@Aharpoon246 күн бұрын
@jaredangell8472 they will never do that though, not enough need or demand across all platforms that use Windows.

Bro…the gains are 720p? No one games at that red and the lift would be negligible in 1080p. Non story here for Intel CPU’s.
@Ancient13418 күн бұрын
@@STRET24 cpu performance is independent of resolution. You use low resolutions to test cpu performance by ensuring the gpu isnt holding the fps back and thus guaranteeing the cpu is the limiting factor
@tomgreene53888 күн бұрын
you realize thats not how it works right? its a cpu bottleneck so its still going by a percentage gain. even if 5% only means 3 to 5 fps at 1080p its still free performance. holy shit some people see 720p and don't understand how testing works and then comment something dumb without even realizing the stupidity.
