I think if I would have done this build I would have gone the extra buy of insulation for the floor, walls & roof then you would really have a real cozy place for the small cost of a couple rolls of the insulation. It does make one hell of a big difference. I am in Western Pennsylvania and the winters here get really cold and the insulation would do it's job for sure.

Alright here go's,you asked for ideas, 1. Put hooks on the walls for hanging coats, packs, etc, etc. Put 2x4's 's up in the rafters right over the front door with a shelf about about 2 ft wide all the way across for more storage, put shelves on the walls above the single bed, but high enough so you don't hit them getting in an out of the bed, maybe gun an bow hangers on the walls to, an let's not forget at least one deer skull on the wall, after all it is a hunting cabin, thx for the vid.

That radiator is sure a great choice when opting not to add a woodstove! We use one in our downstairs guest room and it sure does keep it perfectly the temp we like it. We heat the downstairs with a woodstove but its an around the corner with a door bedroom so a heater like that works great! Love the finished look! Great job and what fun for your family to accomplish a cool cabin for hunting.

Up over the single bed (on the right as you go in) I'd add a small shelf for storage and a bar to hang jackets. And add DC power for lighting. Either an 18650 or 36650 LiPo or LiFePo4 bank, or a pair of car batteries with a few adjustable buck converters attached.

Nice inspiration for a cheap hunting / camping cabin. Stumbled across the video and noticed the Tyrion Lannister t-shirt during one of the fast-forward montage sections of the video, "I drink and I know Things". I happen to be wearing the same T-shirt at this moment. Thought that was funny. Ideas for cabin, definitely coat hangars, a deer skull, and a couple of rifle/bow racks

Make the single bed a little higher off the ground..that way you have room for storage underneath. Put up a shelf over the door for storage also. I love the cabin ...should have put foam insulation in the walls...you could still put in spray insulation.

Hi Mr Outdoors. Would be useful for others contemplating building something similar, to have a clip about which toilet system and why, as well where the electrcity comes from and how much you can do with it. Otherwise this is an excellent channel, well done.

Besides enjoying the idea and construction of the pallet cabin, it was very well filmed and narrated. Very nice job! Have you ever thought of putting in a hanging stove? You wouldn't need a big one due to the size of the cabin, but out here in Western Okla., we build small ones out of Disc Blades from our tractors. You put two together and weld the seam. They basically look like two cooking Woks stacked onto of each other. Then you take a plasma cutter and cut a little door or just an opening (depending on preference) on one side and a small hole on the other for the stove pipe. it actually suspends from the ceiling so you don't have a stove on the floor. It will not use huge logs as you won't need those anyhow. I will dig through some of my old photos and see if I can find a few pics and designs for you guys. Great video, and the cabin turned out amazing.
