Gabbie went to such elaborate lengths to explain to us "inept people" how tags work. She said she wanted to use the tags to 'reach the audience that she thought had already made a video.' However she should know - muting channels or not - that drama channels always follow up with the next part of the story. Even the dc's that didn't make an original video would probably send out her apology video anyway. So tagging the audience of dc's doesn't make much sense. My take on Gabbie: I'm not mad at her apology, I'm mad at the fact that she uploaded the video in the first place. Like you said, there's NO WAY she could have missed the article next to the picture, it was in bold text ffs. I just can't help but think she left it in on purpose, either for clout or something else, but there's just no way she, or anyone else, could have missed it while editing. Which is why I don't believe it was genuine, even if the apology was done well. She's never been in this kind of scandal before and I think the backlash she received was so unexpected, and overwhelming, that she realized she messed up big time. This could be why she was so careful about how she went about it compared to her past apologies, and it explains the tags. It makes it easier for everyone to accept her apology if it's coming from well established drama channels then from herself, like having a mediator without anyone knowing there's a mediator. But that's just my two cents on it.
@llll44454 жыл бұрын
So mistakes are impossible to happen, maybe she's one of these people that don't care to read long paragraphs... you know? Just let the girl alone jeez, she said that it was a mistake why must we act like cops and iNvEsTiGatE :|
@kalystagutierrez16074 жыл бұрын
@@llll4445 I would be more inclined to believe it was a mistake if the words "brutally murdered" were not in bold black text, and she hadn't spent a good few minutes looking at the article. Also given the fact that if her viewers could read the article in her video between the screen cuts and the angle it was at, then she could have as well during editing when everything is paused. She is not a child, nor a teenager, but a fully grown adult who should have known better, but didn't, because her lack of personal responsibility stops her from seeing the error of her ways. This is her punishment, and subsequent retribution, if she can change herself for the better, which many are inclined to not believe. This doesn't take away from the fact that she did apologize, but it doesn't automatically clear up the years of lies and disrespect she has displayed for the world to see. We have the privilege to scrutinize her PUBLIC actions and so we shall.
@llll44454 жыл бұрын
@@kalystagutierrez1607 yeah you're right, but I didn't say we shouldn't hold her accountable, I'm saying that this incident is done and she did apologize so maybe trying to close it is better because this time it's different and others are involved so maybe we better leave it.

When you were talking about the article in the daily, or whatever newspaper it was that posted the picture of Caroline’s ex, it totally reminded me of this lawsuit I read about the other day. A woman who works at a nursing home facility took a picture of one of the residents of the nursing home, who has dementia, and posted the photo of this woman with a description underneath the photo that was demeaning and cruel. The family of the resident ended up suing this woman for invasion of privacy and THEY LOST!!! Basically, because she didn’t give the woman’s name or address, they felt that she had not violated this woman’s privacy since people wouldn’t know who she was or be able to find her based on tbe information provided. I couldn’t believe that shit. The article then went on to discuss several other situations in which employees of nursing homes ended up taking photos of dementia patients in compromising positions and posting them on their social media accounts for laughs. How is this not abuse?! How is this not invasion of privacy?! How is this ok? It’s so sad, it’s so terrifying and it’s absolutely disgusting and so disturbing to think that there are people who actually find that kind of thing funny. In my opinion, taking advantage of another human being or any living being, that cannot defend themselves is borderline sociopath behavior if not full on. I realize the examples I have given are more extreme, or just different than a photo of someone grieving, but it still is dealing with Issues of not just privacy but fucking respect and decency, more importantly. Anyway, sorry for the long rant, I was just so upset about this and then hearing about the newspaper article that posted pictures of Caroline’s ex just hours after news of her death, made me think about it and I got upset all over. I really appreciate your insight and your thoughtful opinions and your considerations for the feelings of others.

The amount of abuse that already happens in so many nursing homes is shocking and to add this on top of it makes me so sad and disgusted.
@katiesbeenyarnified4 жыл бұрын
Kat I know, it’s shocking!!! And it happened here in the US! People should not only lose their jobs, but posting a photo and making fun of them is abuse and if someone can do that in public, or even thinks it’s funny at all, there is no doubt that there is some shady behavior happening in other areas of their life. I live in Minnesota and I have been hearing so many stories of abuse and corrupt nursing home owners stealing money from the company...it’s just awful and terrifying.
@katiesbeenyarnified4 жыл бұрын
Debbie C yes, that’s how it should be, it should be an automatic termination, and especially in these cases where there is clear and apparent abuse taking place, I personally believe these people should be tried further. To be capable of taking advantage of someone who is incapable of caring for themselves and is vulnerable, takes a an extreme lack of compassion and empathy and human beings that lack either but especially both of those things should terrify us and we should not have them caring for our elders, our children or animals. We have this idea of what dangerous people look like and what they do, and do cases such as these get overlooked when they shouldn’t be. To put dementia patients in different poses and make them do things against their will and then to post photos of it for a laugh on social media is sick behavior and there needs to be consequences far greater than firing someone for that. Can you imagine if you had no choice but to put a loved one in a live-in care Facility and something like this were to happen? Makes me sick to my stomach.

Like cause i have a bachelors degree i could ask gor 15 to 18 dollars an hour (im in canada so its vased off of minimum wage and how higher education usually gives you more dollars per hour [there are exceptions like mill work]) only cause i have a bachelors but even then its hard to talk to people about art prices because it comes together when thinking about, how long it took to create , the materials actually used (so canvases what quality of paints or materials you use cause more expensive usually means better pigment and life durability pay out [also with art supplies you jeed to use specific brands that have the AP symbol on it to prove its archival approved if you ever want the chance of it lasting or hanging in a museum] and then the artist needs a little profit as compared to breaking even all the time and deadlines can affect price. And rotalties is something else more contract based wise) like an artist is creating your vision or are translating what your mind is imagining, yo the best of that artists ability, so wpuldnt you talk more to make sure ypu get what you want but also give your artist the means to produce what youre imagining no matter how grand it is, without having to cover your tracks or play the victim or defensive cards (for both sides whether or not its reasonable or is mandatory to get the proper recognition people need) cause you are also paying people to use a talent or craft or ability that you may not potentially have so since they are more professionals in this specific area, theh should be paid for their proffesional services in ehich they can provide. They actually said yes and artists are usually easier on friends. This kinda just burnt a bridge cause if you have a good relationship with an artist , they will or can look after you good when you need it. Also he just burnt more bridges with other artists. Art communities may sometimes bump heads eith each other but we hear well when it comes to things like this

Half the time I have no idea who these people on KZbin are. I have a couple faves but I’m not a super big KZbin person, but I always have to make time to sit down and watch your videos. I guess you can say I love the drama, but what I love more is your real ness, great moral compass and your articulate ability to lay out the facts. Keep it up and I can’t wait for your second channel!!

Am I the only one who doesn't understand how Thomas wouldn't have a few hundred bucks SOMEWHERE? His channel isn't small by any means and regardless of being inactive or whatever, you'd think sis would have some sort of a savings. And as a designer with many years of working experience, that artist's rates were VERY fairly priced so I can't wrap my head around not being able to pay that immmmmeeediiiiateeellyyyy. Tip to designers/artists working freelance or doing commissions at this scale, get everything written (i.e contract) and secure at least a partial payment before you begin work. You're too valuable to be lowballed like THIS.

i know a ton of schools don’t offer those classes needed for skills to use throughout your life like nutrition, child development, personal finance, etc. but my major is literally surrounded by these classes and i’ll be able to teach career-focused classes to middle schoolers and high schoolers. These are Family Consumer Science Classes and they are offered throughout the US, but I’ve always wondered if it’s prominent in other countries.

the tags since they were literally splashed up for 0.2 seconds: gabbie hanna, gabbie, bianca, angelika oles, ashley kyle, the viewers voice, nick snyder, dustin daily, drama, spill, sesh, tea, here for the tea, shook, the right opinion, sebastian williams, exploit basically gabbie tagged her video to get it as much traffic from drama channels and their viewers as she physically could, showing shes in on the current criticisms being leveled against her and is trying to use the traffic from this perspective to fuel her bank account

I agree. Having received a message that "Hey I don't have the money yet" is better than being ghosted. Having multiple customers doing this for commission and I figured its about time I requested them to pay up front before starting on the work instead.. Then again, don't commission someone when you don't have money. Simple as that.

I left a comment on Drew Goodens update video regarding the 'Team 1000' scam. The whole thing was orchestrated by Jake Paul and the people who built the site are just young adult software engineers who were hired to build the sites. My guess is Jake got bored with the idea of putting more work into Team 1000 when he got a sh*tload of money from people trying to sign up. Small investigative youtuber here ✌

I am a graphic designer, and I made tons of work for someone who I considered a friend. I made him so many logos, banners, flyers, menus etc. For the cheapest prices ever. Like around 10$ to 20$ per product. It's been 2 years now and he still owes me around 500$.. I am a pushover but I learnt to never give my work until I am paid for it and that saying "no" is okay sometimes.

The tags were disgusting and she was wrong for putting them there, the way you worded the argument about it is what I've been trying to get through to people as well - she shouldnt be caring about who she is getting views from. I sent you a dm on Twitter with links about nikocado suing a website and absolutely no drama channels have covered it at all. Hopefully that gets to you cuz I feel like no one else has the balls to cover the story.

Dog he’s lying. She asked for ten percent of the profits. He said he sold like 50 in presale (I think I can’t remember) and that he made like 9 bucks off the shirts.
