What features do you like best in a walk-behind mower? Single or dual blade?
@txvet7738Ай бұрын
I’m liking the switch to change between bag/mulch, no more mulch plug to possibly lose…lol! I like dual blade as long as I don’t let the grass get too tall!

I did about a two week study on my Ryobi before buying. My 13 year old Craftsman had given out the day before I bought the new one, LOL. I'm happy with the Ryobi using it for the last part of summer. It also did a good job picking up leaves this past fall, so overall, I'm happy with my purchase. Good job on the video & best of luck to you in the future.

Getting new Ryobi mowers this spring

I'm sure you'll be very happy with it! I was impressed with how well it worked.

Mark...For the bag removal without the cross bar getting in your way...just activate the green handle on the side that you showed earlier, to move the handle out of the way to remove the bag.

Ryobi is really making their newer mowers look swoopy like the Ego mowers! I still wish they would have a metal deck option!
@MarkThomasBuilderАй бұрын
Yeah, I like the idea of a metal deck option.
@txvet7738Ай бұрын
@ I remember they used to have one but stopped making it.

I've had plastic decks for a decade. No problem, I don't miss the steel deck anymore.
@txvet773826 күн бұрын
@@matthewholzmueller6292 I don’t have any problems with mine either it’s just the feel for me I guess! My generation of Tonka trucks were made of metal, this new generations are made of plastic. Yeah it’s a tough plastic but it just doesn’t feel the same for me…lol!

Cross cut blades fail in thick spring grass around here. I would take my upper blade off the Honda until summer. Then in 2004 bought a used troybilt wide cut. Worked for 20 yrs finally the Briggs 9hp motor gave out. Using a wide cut cub now
@MarkThomasBuilderАй бұрын
That's interesting to know. It gets pretty thick here in the spring too. I've always had good luck with my Briggs mowers.

How did you end up getting the new ryobi model early? On their website it says coming soon
@MarkThomasBuilder28 күн бұрын
I was able to test it for the day. This is a early prototype that Ryobi brought over.
@theanswerone86328 күн бұрын
Oh nice, I might get the push model if I do get one. I do like the new command center

Ryobi really put some work into this mower and did a nice job competing against the Ego mower. I have nothing against Ego.
@Thecaptainblackadder25 күн бұрын
Ego wins because of the battery. However, manual mowers will not exist in 2 years.
@MarkThomasBuilder25 күн бұрын
It will be interesting to see what trends come along in 2 years.
