The information and research Alison and you have put out is phenomenal. No one is examining it critically like you guys. Thank you for all your efforts. I don't ever comment. But I've listened multiple times to your guys' videos and information. Tons of mind-boggling information to learn about and understand. All your efforts in getting the info out are much appreciated and enduring all the BS that comes with it. Much respect 🙏

Correction: there was a very brief mention of blockchain in our "Steering Consciousness" video but that was not the subject we were discussing

Sorry you lost your friend. I know how that feels. People are used to easy sound bites and 'the powers that be' know this. They keep things simple and/or use emotion to sell a concept. What you and Alison discuss is all new to me but I think you are such a valuable resource for someone as ignorant as I am, so please keep going. I need to understand some of it, then I can see the big picture and explain it to other technophobes like me!

I'm only doing a drive-by comment here (i.e. I have no clue what this channel is about, but for some reason I'm subscribed to it) but imho in a lot of senses there is very little point to seeking engagement and argument with people of radically different viewpoints. Because I think what actually drives disagreement is not that people are dumb or something, but that on a fundamental level they have very different conceptions of how the world is, they have very different conceptions of how the world ought to be and they have different ways to look at the world and the issues in the world (I am actively avoiding the word "wrong" here). And these rarely change, especially as people age (and I mean like, it's exceedingly rare to change those fundamental views after reaching the age of 30) and I very much doubt they change as a consequence of engaging with someone who's fundamentally completely different. You grow and refine your own understanding of the world by talking to people who are more or less on a similar wavelength as you, because they'll provide you with stimuli that aren't completely alien to you but that still didn't originate in your own mindspace.

I still do work with people who are different from me and learn from them all the time. I am perfectly fine with respctfully engaging with with those holding different world views but I have some basic requirements. One being that they take the time to actually learn what it is that I am sharing here. Then and only then can they authentically agree or disagree with it. Almost exclusively, the people who make oppositional comments online have not even engaged at all with the material. They are just mindlessly promoting their own previously held views and information. I will no longer share my time and energy with those people but I am still very much open to hearing from and working with people with different views.

@@AlisonMcDowell I think there used to be chomsky videos uploaded to this channel some time ago. My subscription is probably from around that time, 2014 in my personal timeframe (as that was when I was getting into Chomsky).

Besides electronic contracts, the NFT is going to be huge. Within a few years your wont be able to make a meme without a threat of a lawsuit. I believe its already this way in europe. NFT's are the perfect way to stop us from spreading messages. There will also be huge use of crypto for real estate. Its also only a matter of time before stores like kroger take all that shopping card info and tokenize it and these token snap shots of us will be for sale to anyone.

Jason, oh my goodness, i cant imagine how youd possibly be able to briefly summarise all this stuff. that last video was especially good by the way. theres soooo much to unpack from that one, and theres quite a bit more to the things you two were speaking about, but hey, it was already a 4 hour video, i definetly cant fault you two for being unable to fully unpack everything in one sitting. about losing people.... its going to happen, im sorry, but its likely going to be the norm. i understand this is hard, and im just saying, this is going to happen often if not most of the time. im sorry.

My thinking is if people don't want to engage with the material then don't bother coming on my channel to make an uninformed comment. I've come to expect this. Just going to deal with it differently from now on.

@@argusfest unfortunately, thats going to happen too, and as you know, it may or may not be real people leaving those comments. on a different note though, addressing what you were saying about summarising the material, i suspect that may be much more difficult than one might think. it does require long attention span and attention to detail, i dont see how youd be able to sum it up in a bite size sort of way, but if you did manage to pull that off, my hats off to you.

@@argusfest have you considered that you may be deciding to apply shorthand categorization to the issue? i could be wrong of course, and i do understand why it might be easier to engage with criticism in that way.

Hi, I find your work very interesting but agree that a summary/introduction presentation of some kind would be valuable. Watching a big talk like the last one can feel like opening a book on chapter 10 and trying to pick up the plot threads. And the blockchain plot thread is a particularly tricky one to pick up because, as you say, your perspective is pretty uncommon. Thanks.

Jason and Alison have a ton of content that builds sequentially. It's not the kind of topic that people can just jump in anywhere and understand the context from sound bites, it just doesn't work like that. It really requires going back a year or two and studying on this topic to understand the context for what they were speaking about. It just takes time and effort but its very much worth it.

Even if one does just jump in midstream it will start to make sense with time. It has been a process for me as well.

Yes it is largely a waste online. That is why I sort of stepped away from the online world of putting out information, and I've started doing it IRL. It's always better that way. Not as easy because its difficult to explain in a few sittings.. and at least we are engaging in person and having great debates.

I go to a weekly meeting with conservatives on freedom issues. I am the only leftist there and have a hard time getting concepts across to them. Occasionally I have limited success. I often get frustrated and lose my temper. I have a horrible temper because I am a survivor of childhood abuse, which got worse after unnecessary medical trauma several years ago, well before the $camdemic.

AMD and you are top analysts of the paradigm challenges. Not for normies and shills. You still have some way to go in understanding money in terms of heterodox political economy and social governance systems taking into account heterodox political philosophy. Keep on the good work!
