So if you punch your arm is tensed all the time? In karate arm is like a whip and you tense your arm only at the end when you are about to go through the target.

That’s not true, explosive push-ups do increase power, obviously I don’t know about number two, but I assume it trains shoulder strength?

@rhino_2832 they do but they are not useful for BJJ or MMA. There is better options. Number 2 it is good for shoulder rotation, you are going to use it in BJJ but it is too situational to put in a list of "best exercises for".

They are useful, I do calisthenics and BJJ and they cover a lot of things...
