Collecting evidence I'm right & overthinking...this is ME! Fortunately, I decided to not prove I was right just other day! Excellent, excellent, excellent 👏

When the conversation always turns into an argument. I don't know how to approach it again. When you live with the person you can't have a conversation with.

I learned to stay silent and ask the Lord to lead me and guide me. I tell the Lord I won't speak unless you give me the words. Its hard but God is faithful. I usually tell the person I'm in conflict with I need time to process. I hope that helps. In love, Jenny

:( I'm learning prayer does more good than my own words to those I love and have difficult relationships with.

I have 47 yrs. of experience like this😢My husband lied from the beginning ...about his age(14 yrs older than me), about being raised in a Christian home (he wasn’t), about being a Christian (not a believer). Yes,he has come to faith but is 47 yrs of staying a ‘baby Christian’. Our 39 y.o. son committed suicide in 2019...I cannot begin to explain what that has done...he argues about anything-or has no opinion which he equates to being “middle of the road” whether it is politics or religion.Everyday I wish I had left when I was young & first found out these things. My youngest daughter said she used to keep her favorite clothes in a bag b/c she was sure we’d be kicked out of our house-her si kings did the same!My husband is also constantly harping about $$ and though he promised my Mom he would send me w/ the children back each summer to see them, he NEVER did😢My kids grew up never really knowing family...Such guilt...

Such a good reminder! I was recently reminded to always consider whether my words and actions are focused on being right or on the relationship. This quick lesson took that idea even further. Thank you, ladies!

I was thinking the same thing? Is it me? Or why do I attract wrong people. And when I talked about everything that I was having trouble with I felt so better and that’s exactly what was going on dreading the reaction of what I said and when we had the conversation all the expectations were gone and my distrust was gone about everything.
