Enkei' name comes from 遠州軽合金株式会社 Enshu Lightweight Alloy Co. Limited. Abbreviated from the main 2 characters of "Enshu (place name) and "Lightweight", you get "遠 軽", that is "En kei".

This is exactly right. A combination of Enshu and Keigoken (Spelling may not be exact). Proud employee of the Enkei America Columbus plant for the last 16 years.

The way we say it in the video “ehn-kei” is the technically correct pronunciation. “Inky” is a commonly accepted way to say it as well
