Spear was supposed to come, but it was delayed indefinately. They want to balance all weapons before introducing new ones. Tell me what ur style is and ill give u few combinations that will be fun for u

I'm supportive of a sub model. WoW and FFXIV both have great content updates and utilize sub models, the cash shop monetization models all seem to suffer from content creation issues and I think it's because the income stream is flat out unstable and attracts a lot of credit card fraud and what not.

QoL changes yes, new area, not at the start due to how the game progresses and unlocks new content, but eventually yes.

No. You can play open beta, then go on hyperboost server on KR and u start over on NA in sept. Cant transfer from KR, it wouldnt be fair. But u can use KR as a beta test

if this lucent currency that can only be bought through real money not changed then honestly you will see that this will go lost ark path , explode at start and massively keep losing players , I can't imagine how can they put system in game that it's currency can only be obtained through real money , ya of course u can farm epic gears then sell it but still u won't get anywhere near the p2w players , they can try anything but as long as the system itself is still in place , this game will go on lost ark path honestly , it's just so frustrating these companies never learn , they don't see companies that are literally making billions of dollars only from skins/cosmetics

Idk man, hoping this type of KR game is not going to he p2w sounds naive. NCSoft plus AGS does not look like a great combo, specially because of how Lost Ark was handled and pretty much died in the west (my region doesnt have servers anymore). It would be nice to have another good game to play now that i quit but cant bring myself to be hopeful anymore with these companies, hope im wrong about this one.

It has to be very minimal p2w. The game failed in KR and global release is the only thing that can save it. If they dont cater to western players then its their own fault for being greedy. Otherwise game is really good

@@jefflowery7338 you can reroll stats and add and upgrade them more cheap and easy. Right now u have to farm really hard or p2w really hardy with this change p2w has been reduced signficantly. And skill traits add a unique wayd for builds and now there will be more customizations with the builds

As long as there is ANY form of PTW at all, most of the larger competitive MMO guilds will avoid this game. PTW is always a death knell in the West, with the exception of mobile games for some reason - but are they even real 'gamers?' lol ;-)

If you ever played ArchAge then you already know what this game will be - Just on a larger scale. Its a new generation of players not knowing how KR P2W games work. I hope they get his one right, but AA turned a lot of people away from KR games. Lucky for Throne, people are starved for a game, regardless if its good or not.

Ncsoft 😂. Korea region is already dead. Ncsoft is wellknown for their p2w bussiness practice. Release content right before earnings report for fomo and cash grab. Tweaking % chances without telling the customers, which is why kr players are boycotting their games. Their stok dropped 80% within a year. U think they will not milk you? Botting killed their previous games. Throne of liberty bot is already for sale on the market. Last but not least: AGS publishing another korean grindfest after lost ark lost 99% of their playerbase. Enjoy and be warned. 1 tip I can give new MMO players. W8 for whatever MMO for at least 6 months. If the game is not dead or lost 90% of the population. Give it a try.

Sub model + P2W practices will drive this game into the dirt imo. I don't think anybody wants to pay to play then have to deal with the P2W aspects that are already in the game even with these new anti-P2W updates...

If you can get any advantage at all in the game by spending real money it's always going to be considered P2W. It's fair to discuss how big of an advantage something is, but its still going to be considered an advantage and its still going to allow you progress faster than someone who doesn't spend money, so this video title is definitely misleading because they have not fixed anything regarding P2W, they have only increased the accessibility in which more free to play players can engage in the content without having to spend money, same with Tarisland.

the game honestly is one of the least p2w mmorpgs i've played, especially for a KR mmorpg..compared to LOST ARK. it won't fail in weapon upgrading or trait enhancing, gear building is just a matter of time and relatively easy. P2W is just a speed-up of this progress, by doing daily contracts and dungeons you will get stuff you don't need and just throw them on auction you will get lucents to trade for gears you want.

Mmorpgs are designed to be played in a loop. Its all about how fast new content comes to break that loop. You need to have progressions that are worth farming daily and weekly, otherwise its not mmorpg, its single player game that u complete once and forget
