It would be interesting but a bit over the top... it would punish heavily people who thought that you should only keep the people you could have trusted from the beginning, and while that's not true in real life as well, it's a very harsh punishment

I gota say, xavier is the best spy i have ever seen, not even little i have doubted him. Nilfguard got really lucky with this guy. From his last act only the power of the plot armor stopped him: ).

It was my first pick too because he was automatically added. Gascon was too obvious as the traitor and Reynard was too much of a good guy. Ironically I was wrong for both Gascon and Reynard, but I ended up being right for Xavier.

I confess that it took me by surprise which doesn't happen often. I would have never imagined, i mean, even if he didn't provoke his burns as a cover up (and he didn't) I mean, we literally saved his life, he didn't anticipated our arrival, he didn't knew we were going to save him and yet no gratitudes, not even a little amount of honor. It's impressive really, how he remained such a good little pawn of Nilfgaard.

Game does a great job at presenting the actual danger and effectiveness of Nilfgaardian spies. As for these two, I kicked them both out, made the scene where they save her a hundred times better.

I like to imagine Reynard and Gascon only pretended to leave camp and secretly hid behind the tent sulking. They both are feeling sorry themselves when they notice the spy try to kill Meve.

I always thought he was a Nilfgaardian spy because of his checkered uniform. I know this is stupid, but it always bugged me that it looked like the Nilfgaardian armor from the Witcher 3

Best 6 euros i ever spent. Didn't expect such a long campaign and definetly not such a well written one. I think this is better than Witcher 3 main quest, if there was more interaction with your companions this would easily have been on Dragon Age Origins level.

All this and then the witch says she's Nilfgaardian too - that one broke me. Everyone is either a spy or a foe, noone to trust, noone to turn to. This whole game drained me emotionally, I just couldn't take anything else in for weeks.

Damn, this does not suit my Meve, my Meve is quite harsh and dominating, she would of liked the sight of these two traitors on their knees begging for forgiveness. Sigh, all those men I hanged for attempting to flee, all the times I've denied my men respite at festive gatherings. Still they crawl back lol

I think that their return is credible. Their return at that very moment was not so easily believed though. I watched this video, because I thought the queen would die if she had sent them away (I kept them, so I wanted to see the other option).

@@marcoboscarol2420 honestly, I think that there must be a way for her to die in the game. That would be more realistic (though contradicting to Sapkowsky's plot).
