So, I am a 41-year-old disabled man from years of farming and a decade of racing BMX professionally. I held over 6 #1 titles and made it to 16th in the world, so hard work is in my blood! Now I have to say, becoming a great discgolfer has been one of the hardest things for me to accomplish. If I could get my game to a solid 400 or maybe even 450ft with consistency, I would call myself accomplished in the game that I plan to love and play till my body gives up on me! It does not help living in the state of Michigan, where I can not play much in our 6 months of winter due to fear of injuries. If I could get a dedicated coach who could help me beat the disabilities that hold me back, I just know I could accomplish my goal! Till then I will NEVER GIVE UP because I love this game so much!

Think of figure skaters or other rotational athletes. It's not about wind resistance, it's about bringing your rotational mass in. Having weight outside and then bringing it in would theoretically bring more power in... just like gymnasts or figure skaters control their rotation by drawing rotational weight inward.

Just entered my first disc gold tournament coming up in 2 weeks. I am rewatching every single sling shot video until then and thats going to be my training. Not going to step foot outside my house or even touch a disc because I am just visualizing it all. I can see me finishing in the top 5 and eventually winning it all and getting sponsored by nike and all the disc golf shoe brands.
