And the Machine is a beast :-) I have over 1200 miles in the two or three months I've had it LOL and no matter how many times I watch this review before I bought one, it's hard to describe the power, and size until you get it. I have absolutely no regrets. Mine will go 40 mph for a short time at full charge but usually 38 mph. Drops down to about 36 mph at low battery. Hi! One Seller told me that the tires are not tubeless and cannot be changed into tubeless. If something very sharp gets deep inside the tire, does it start losing air? And if so, is it possible to remove the tire and fix the damaged area on the air-tube or not? Maybe the tire and its air-tube are too thick for safety reasons? Thanks.

You can easily fix it, no issues. Not sure if the tubeless ones are sold online. The tires are pretty thick, low chances to get a flat.

My D4 2.0 scooter the pole that connects to the handle bar does not extend all the way to its maximum length and stop at the hole one below the last hole on the top of the pole. Upon examining this issue further i found out that the wires that are connected to the handle bar which runs through the pole onto the front assembly is too short or too tight where it cannot be pulled more to extend thus allowing the handle bar to stretch so that it can line up with the last hole on top of the pole so that you can raise the handle bar up. Mike Antry most of these generic controller have an option to enable Cruise Control. If u hold the throttle at a constant slow walking speed it will lock that speed and you're sorted. Certain others even have a dedicated button which sets the bike to go a constant "walking speed" of 4kmph so you can ride along side someone walking. Hope they bring that to more controllers via a firmware upgrade or something.

6'6, bruv, you're a giant. At that height, most scooters you find will seem small. I'm 6'0 and I rode one of these, and it was just right. You can however just hack it. Either DIY or have someone extend the shaft slightly for ya so the handle bar stem is longer. 🍻🍻
@MrGarda425 жыл бұрын
The Donald#1 hahaha I really shouldn't write messages unless I'm sober. I had to re read twice what I wrote to understand what I was saying. Lol. I meant to say, extend the handle bar shaft. It's what I had done for a friend of mine, he's really tall and was forever bending while riding. Took out the main shaft, measured the diameter and then put an extra 4 inches at the end so he could pull out the handle bars more ergo making the stem longer.

Hey Will! Could you please shed some light on the legal aspects of riding a scooter in public? Been thinking about buying one but if it's not legal then I'll give it a miss. Thanks
@Norfolkandchance8864 жыл бұрын
@@fagyisrobi if you are in the UK the only place they are technically allowed to be ridden is on private land. They are not legal on roads cycle lanes or footpaths. Electric bike is a better buy but even that the law is stupid. My 1000 watt fat bike is in the eyes of the law and electric moterbike although ive not had it faster than 30mph downhill. They don't seem to be enforcing the law I'm in East London today and I've seen too many electric scooters to count. I've seen the police on mine in a small market town too and the police didn't show any interest they definitely saw me on it a few times personally I think you would be fine but technically you could have it impounded. It's just not happening, I read they are looking into the laws regarding electric scooters in march I think they will make them legal because the police have enough to do but what I think is going to happen is there will be restrictions on moter size ect 2000 watt is going to be deemed to powerful I imagine. Thing is though same as now it's not going to be enforced if people can remain sensible and not cause accidents it's only when people start getting hurt they are going to get serious

Thanks very much for the detailed response Will, top man! I'm planning to ride it to & from work, on the High Barnet - King's Cross route.
@Norfolkandchance8864 жыл бұрын
@@fagyisrobi I'd think you would be fine. Everyone else seems to be on them in london anyways. I've rode from herts to wood green a few times when I was working there last year. It was more the distance and time it took or I would have used it every day, about 15 miles so it was too much of a journey for a scooter. Over shorter distances they are the best way to travel, fast incredibly fun and most importantly very cheap with minimal maintenance certainly beats London transport but can be put on a train if needs be. Not sure what they would say on a bus saying that but I've had mine on the busy commuter lines from herts into london folds up pretty small. Quite heavy but that not really an issue for me. To be perfectly honest with you I've not been able to work for a while due to illness. My d5+ might well be going on gumtree before long because I already have a house full of push bikes and I'm gonna need some money if I cant get back to work soon. If you are serious about getting yourself a scooter mine has not been used that much maybe 500 to a thousand miles no more that than I'd estimate maybe 10 charges and even then i dont charge it fully to ensure the most battery cycles it's well maintained i tightened up the breaks the other day. Let me know if you are interested in it because I will be needing a quick sale so the price will be very fair. Took over a month to be shipped mine is ready to ride away. I brought mine late last summer I've had no problems with it at all. Some really bad reviews about nanrobots products I've found online and they are unjustified in my experience. They are not the best scooters available I'm not going to lie the front suspension could be better but for the price they are very good and bearing in mind I weight nearly 19 stone it still flys up hills you tend to get used to the suspension after a while and you will have to slow down for speed bumps going over 15mph I've realised as long as you do it's fine i certainly wouldn't recommend going 40 mph over bumps on a nanrobot but I wouldn't on any electric scooter to be honest 10 inch wheels are not designed for rough terrain at speed I dont think the d4 would last long off with 19 stone on it that's why I got the d5 and I have an electric motorcross bike. Its horses for courses they are good on roads but not for the off road seen a few videos online of people going off road but they are not my size it would never work 😂

Idk why people that review scooters lie about the speed. Please use GPS. This scooter will not do 40Mph. It tops out of 33-35Mph. With a light rider. 160Lbs. It is important that you mention that accurate speed of the scooter. Because what happens is someone sees a 1300 dollar scooter doing 40Mph. They buy it. They test it out and it disapoints them after seeing its speed isnt near what was mentioned.. 🤦♂️...

Depends on the riders weight😉

Not everyone goes the same speed limit, mine does in fact go 40 mph at full charge but then drops down to about 38.

That Styrofoam packing is unacceptable in 2024. Took me more that 20 minutes to clean my scooter

*THIS IS NOT A 40MPH SCOOTER* I have the d5+ which is suppose to be only a little more powerful than the D4 and I have a video in my channel with "GPS Speed" overlay and the MAX speed is ALWAYS 30-32mph. This scooter will NEVER take you to the false advertised 40mph

I agree, but It's not low, it's just simple. High end scooters are alot more expensive. Probably we will see an improvement in the industry in the near future.
