mkwhat is the torque you applied to crankcase bolts (the crnkshat journal one ? and for the big end connecting rods ?

nice job. i have o5 zx10, any suggestions on what simple mods i can do to the engine to give it a few more hp. You know this engine in and out. Do you build engines for others.thanks

Thank you. Simple mods on engines that make 170+ hp per liter don't exist unfortunately. There are lots of not simple mods that will give you extra hp, my favorite not simple mod is forced induction. It's my 1st time rebuilding 05 zx10r engine, but I've rebuilt other engines before.

I got a zx10 09 and I had a 04 in the past I think the best "simple mods" you can do for a few hp and being able to produce them on road is a good full system exhaust system then air filter...at that point your bike can't produce horsepower it might even go a little worse than before but then you can go and tune your ecu (flash it) to then new best air fuel ratio you can even help even more your bike with the help of a power commander and some more stuff like second fuel modules Ignition modules etc. so after all that tuning you have about 10-20+/- hp more depends on the stuff you putted into your bike. If you want to be able to produce that hp on a 0-400 you surely need to lower it just a bit put some weight maybe in the front downside of the fork extend a bit your swingarm at the point that the bike can start at it's best but doesn't drift on it's own. then you surely will a quickswifter witch will be connected on your powercommander I think that's a basic mod you can do so the bike can produce about 170 to 180 hp on your back wheel and being able to use them properly. I hope I helped...

Hey there Buddy. Do you still mess around with the zx10r stuff. I seen video was 5 years ago. Curious if anybody up or below had an 05 zx10r Ram air duct. Been looking everywhere can’t be found

Do you have to split the cases to replace the transmission? my transmission is locked up and about to take on this task

You need oil on the threads to properly torque bolts up to spec.
