Great vlog. I fully realize how challenging it is to visit a big national park for filming as a day trip. But you guys made it successfully and made us enjoy and benefit. Big thumb 👍 for that . Thanks

Such a beautiful national park! The Necklaces looked spectacular. It's too bad the water was a bit low, but that didn't take too much away from showing how beautiful it is. Great call to hire a car for this too. Going where big buses can't!

I've watched SO many YT videos on Krka, and this is the first one where I really got a feel for the size, layout, and schedules. :) (Plus all your footage looks nice)
@TideKnotTravellers3 жыл бұрын
We had no idea how vast it was until we got there. Plitvice is all in one place but is also more touristy so we actually preferred Krka ☺️

The water was so clear where the fish were! Glad your border crossing was uneventful - but such an interesting border placement. Your fruit cup was massive - definitely a healthy snack. Those waterfalls were really underwhelming - I can see why you had to ask if you were in the right spot. And that cave seems like it would be a pass for me - I'm not a fan of small spaces like that. The Necklaces are so pretty - the scenery is incredible. The last falls were beautiful!! I'm such a waterfall fan.

Had no idea I’d dislike being in a cave like that until this moment. I’ve been in other caves and been ok but this was so long and narrow it felt weird and made me a little claustrophobic I guess 😅

Thank you for sharing your amazing Krka National Park adventure. It will be a miracle if my husband and I can do what you did in a day considering we have to go back to the ship before 6pm. We should be happy if we see the big Krka Waterfalls. Happy traveling.

I generally like surprises, but definitely not while using the toilet😂 Thanks for the warning! That's so nice that visitors are provided with so many food options right off of the trail. That fruit cup really was massive! It's unbelievable how many waterfalls there are to view, even during the dry season. And amazing hiking and caves too! This park really has it all and is definitely getting added to our list of places to visit! Thanks for another great video, guys.

You can avoid going into Bosnia and Herzegovina by going across the bridge to Komarna for those who are worried about border crossing. Little difference in time and 5km longer.

Do you need your passport to cross from dubrovnik to go to the waterfalls?

Yes they checked it at the border crossing both ways.

Great video, so did you guys drive from Dubrovnik to Krka National Park and then back again ? We are staying in Dubrovnik for 7days but definately want to do the drive up. Would you recommend staying over somewhere else rather than the journey back?
@TideKnotTravellers2 жыл бұрын
We drove from Dubrovnik to Krka and then made the decision to not go back to our lovely apartment in Dubrovnik as it was too far and as we were so close to Plitvice we booked a last minute cheap place so we could see Plitvice the next day, you can see what happened here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aXuYZoireJt3p9k Hope you have a great trip and happy to help if you have any questions 😊
